Nowon Seoul Korean BBQ buffet: beef brisket at Eongteori

In short

Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch is an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant in Nowon, Seoul. I grilled beef brisket again and again, with Han River ramen, mul-naengmyeon, and fried rice to finish. Verdict: a great pick when you want lots of meat for good value.

Dining out has gotten expensive lately, but Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch (엉터리 무한대패 공릉점) is a place where you can enjoy lots of different meats generously without the burden. I recommend this Gongneung pork belly spot for those days when you want delicious meat and want to leave nice and full :)

Getting there from Gongneung Station and the restaurant atmosphere

Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch, at 2F, 83 Dongil-ro 192-gil, Nowon-gu, Seoul, is about a seven-minute walk from Exit 1 of Gongneung Station.

The interior is quite spacious, making it perfect for company dinners or evening get-togethers!! It felt like a clean, open, comfortable Korean BBQ restaurant. Even late in the evening, it was bustling with guests beyond what I could fit in the photos, so I could really feel that it is a popular meat restaurant in Gongneung.

There is a 120-minute dining limit, and going over costs ₩5,900 per person per hour. There is also an environmental charge for leaving food, so I recommend taking small amounts and going back for more as you eat. High chairs are available too, so it looked like a good place for a family meal!!

Eongteori Muhandae Pae all-you-can-eat information

At Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch, it is ₩17,900 per person, ₩10,000 for children under 10, and ₩7,000 for preschoolers. There were plenty of add-on sides, including steamed egg, soybean paste stew, soybean paste rice soup, and cold noodles, all reasonably priced—nice for when meat alone feels a little incomplete!!

All-you-can-eat prices and side menu

After ordering at the table, we headed straight to the self bar and could freely bring back meat and side dishes to suit our tastes.

Along with sauces and vegetables, there were side dishes such as bean sprouts, bracken fern, and kimchi. The vegetables were fresh and neatly maintained, and personally I loved the wide variety of ingredients that could be grilled right on the hot plate.

Bean sprouts, bracken fern, onions, and kimchi are absolutely delicious when grilled alongside the meat ..

What is the Han River ramen corner like?

There is also an unlimited Han River ramen corner, with such a wide variety of ramyeon (Korean instant noodles). It was great to have alongside the meat here and there, and it worked as dessert too. Personally, the Sari Gomtang ramen was delicious haha.

They say the menu changes regularly so you can enjoy a wider range of cuts :) On the day I visited, there was beef brisket, Iberico pork, thin-sliced five-layer pork belly, flower-cut pork belly, and frozen pork belly.

My absolute favorite was the beef brisket—it was so good .. It had no off smell at all, just a lovely nutty richness haha.

The day I grilled beef brisket again and again

After bringing back a whole bunch of food from the self bar, we returned to the table and put it straight on the grill. I also picked up dumplings and old-fashioned sausage for little bites.

Golden-grilled beef brisket

I mostly grilled beef brisket. Since it was thin, it cooked quickly into a delicious golden brown, and once I took a bite, I just kept eating endlessly, so I had it several times. The soft texture and nutty flavor were so good!

It cooks quickly because it is thin, and it is soft and nutty too .. As expected, beef brisket tastes best grilled and eaten right away! This was a day when I was busy going back and forth, filling my plate with almost nothing but beef brisket again and again .. haha

Beef brisket picked up for several rounds

It was also so delicious with ssam vegetables, shredded scallions, bean sprouts, kimchi, and more!!

In particular, Eongteori Muhandae Pae has its own all-purpose sauce, and dipping the meat in it brought out even more savory umami, which I loved.

Finishing with mul-naengmyeon and fried rice

Refreshing mul-naengmyeon

After eating a fair amount of meat, we could not skip cool mul-naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles in broth). With its slushy broth and chewy, springy noodles, it did a wonderful job of cutting through the rich taste of the meat.

Final fried rice

We were pretty full, but fried rice is essential .. Chop the remaining meat into small pieces, then stir-fry it with bean sprouts, bracken fern, sesame oil, and crushed roasted seaweed, and you have an appetizing fried rice.

The golden fried rice had the nutty flavor of the meat, plus the aroma of crushed seaweed and sesame oil, so I kept reaching for my spoon even though I was full. Fried rice really is essential after Korean BBQ!

For days when you want a generous meat feast

At Eongteori Muhandae Pae, you can enjoy unlimited beef brisket and many other meats according to your taste. Fresh vegetables, various side dishes, and even Han River ramen were all unlimited. It is a place in Gongneung where you can enjoy plenty of meat at a good value, so I hope you give Eongteori Muhandae Pae Gongneung Branch a visit when looking for a Gongneung meat restaurant :)
