Anguk pizza restaurant for corn and pepperoni halves: Low Five

I remembered the corn pizza at Low Five’s Sinpung branch being so delicious, so this time I went to Low Five Anguk, a pizza spot by Anguk Station. When you’ve eaten so well, you trust yourself to try another branch too!

When you’re craving pizza near Anguk Station

I was wondering what to eat near Anguk Station, then got a craving for pizza and headed straight to Low Five! If you’re looking for good pizza around Anguk Station, Low Five Anguk has a great location and atmosphere, and you might want to use the combination I ordered as a reference too.

It was full even at weekday lunch, but I had put myself on the remote waiting list and got in after less than 10 minutes. On weekday evenings, the waiting list reportedly closes before 7 p.m... It’s also famous as a popular Anguk Station spot with a wait.

A casual space and QR ordering

The atmosphere is a little more casual than the Sinpung branch—Sinpung wins hands down on atmosphere, honestly! Still, this place is spacious, and it’s the kind of restaurant you don’t often find in Anguk. Also, every staff member is a man. (A paradise of handsome guys.)

What we ordered for lunch for two

• Half-and-half pizza (corn/pepperoni) ₩26,000
• Alfredo cream pasta ₩18,000
• Classic Caesar salad ₩12,000
• Coke Zero ₩3,000

Since this was my second visit, I was curious about flavors other than the one I’d tried. You can order the pizza half-and-half, so I picked two at once, and the pairing was so good! Approved!

There’s a self-service bar in the middle of the restaurant, like at the Sinpung branch. Parmesan, hot sauce, water, utensils, and so on are all easy to help yourself to. *Ask the staff for everything else.

It’s basically the rule that two people come and order three things, right? You can’t give up pizza, pasta, and salad. Low Five gives you jalapeños instead of pickles. No pickles here..

Caesar salad that goes well with pizza

The salad you absolutely have to order for the sake of your conscience. It’s a romaine salad with loads of Caesar dressing and grated cheese—hardly salad-like at all, haha. It’s great for waking up your appetite before the meal, and for refreshing your palate midway through pizza and pasta.

Rich Alfredo cream pasta

The Alfredo cream pasta comes with smooth, rich cream sauce and big, thick pieces of bacon and shrimp on top. The bacon was so thick and large that I had to cut it with a knife.

Just because it’s a pizza place doesn’t mean only the pizza is good—the pasta was great to order alongside it for a full meal too. I had the truffle cream pasta at the Sinpung branch, and their pasta is generally all good!

The corn and pepperoni half-and-half combination

The corn/pepperoni half-and-half pizza. It’s piled high with corn, so the first bite has that fun popping texture, and the sweet corn with salty cheese makes the ultimate sweet-and-salty combination.

It’s not just a sweet corn pizza—for me, Low Five’s is the best corn pizza I’ve had in Seoul. It was exactly my taste, as expected.

The pepperoni has that salty, unmistakably classic pizza flavor, so I loved alternating between the two halves.

I visited another branch first and then came to the Anguk branch, and it suited my taste perfectly too. The staff were very kind as well. It’s a good place to remember when you’re walking around Anguk or Bukchon and start craving pizza, and it’s also great for lunch followed by an Anguk date.
