Pizza lunch for four in Jongno, Seoul: Didi's Pizza Pub

My office is located between Gwanghwamun, Anguk, and Jonggak, so when lunchtime comes around, I often go hunting for good spots nearby with my teammates! And among them, there is one truly, truly! recommended lunch place that we visit almost once a month.... (Yes, this is a review through a trial group, but I reallyX100 go here a lot.)

Where is Didi's Pizza Pub?

It is right by the door when you enter the first floor of Doosan We've Pavilion, the building next to Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun!

This is the entrance on the A Core side. Here is what the exterior looks like.

They also sell a pretty well-put-together lunch set at lunchtime only! I think it would be great for office workers to have with colleagues on a weekday lunch.

Neon-sign atmosphere inside

Maybe because the place is decorated with neon signs throughout, it had a certain atmosphere, you know..? It felt a little American too, haha. There was a charm to the minimal lighting.

A self-service bar with pickles and even ice

After ordering, you can pick up forks, plates, water, wet wipes, pickles, and more yourself at the self-service bar by the entrance! Personally, I like being able to take what I need comfortably from a self-service bar... one thing I really liked. Haha. They even had ice, so we could put as much as we wanted into our drink cups and enjoy cold drinks~~

What four office workers ordered and our best picks

We ordered Handmade Dough Didi's Pizza ₩14,000, Handmade Dough Didi's Buldak Pizza ₩14,800, Spicy Cream Toowoomba Pasta ₩17,800, Buffalo Wings ₩17,800, and four Zero Cokes at ₩2,500 each. That makes four kinds of food! Plus one can of Pepsi Zero per person~

The four of us were the writer, my senior colleague, our team leader, and an accounting colleague! Honestly, it was a combination of dishes that makes you want beer, but we are non-drinking humans who do not enjoy alcohol, so we all went with Pepsi Zero.. We are about to reveal everyone's favorite from the dishes above!

Why were Buffalo Wings the best pick for two people?

The first dish to arrive! It is our number-one order whenever we come here, hahaha. Why? Because it is our team leader's favorite, haha. But it really is sooo goodㅠ Since having the Buffalo wings here, wings elsewhere have just not satisfied me.

There is plenty of it, of course, and the skin is crisp and chewy while the meat inside is moist, with seasoning that is just right.. Taking bites of the lettuce salad in between made the pairing absolutely perfectㅠ

What does the Handmade Dough Didi's Pizza taste like?

The second dish to arrive was Handmade Dough Didi's Pizza, one of Didi's Pizza Pub's signature items!

It is a pan pizza with handmade dough. It has pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, onion, and more on top (a combination that cannot possibly be bad), plus lots of garlic and cheese sauce, so it was nutty, salty, and so deliciousㅠ

Can you see that cheese stretch..? I have no idea how far it would go, haha.

The pizza comes cut into 10 easy-to-eat slices, so it was convenient for four people to share!

The heat of Handmade Dough Didi's Buldak Pizza

An endless parade of pizza(?)

This one is also one of the best dishes: Handmade Dough Didi's Buldak Pizza! It was quite a special treat too..

It had pepperoni, spicy chicken, mushrooms, onions, and more, all drizzled generously with buldak (fire chicken) sauce! It was spicy and salty, the kind of flavor that wakes up your appetite.. This was such a special treat?

But since it is buldak sauce, people who cannot handle spicy food should probably be careful!!

Why Spicy Cream Toowoomba Pasta was the writer's best pick

Ah.. It makes my mouth water even looking at it againㅠ Look at this thing's appearance.. Could it possibly not taste good? Of course it does! Anyway.

The moment you taste it, you know.. This is it.. It is spicy and thick and creamy, but not greasy at all, and you just keep eating it.. It is simply delicious.. It has whole shrimp, bacon, scallop meat, and more.

I really love shrimp, and there were more shrimp than I expected! The same went for the mushrooms—they did not hold back on the ingredients. All I can say is.. just order it. You really will not regret ordering this one! Haha
