Seongsu restaurant with cheese-pour lasagna: Billadeubeullu

Today, I’m introducing a lovely restaurant in Seongsu-dong: Billadeubeulleu Seongsu (빌라드블루 성수), a spot that came over from Haebangchon with its signature cheese-waterfall lasagna—validated by 23 million views—and a T-bone steak finished with poured-on ghee at about half the price of Outback! 😊

You can visit through Naver Reservation. Walk-ins are possible too❗️

The reservation deposit is ₩15,000 per person. You can also reserve through Catchtable (same deposit). Reservations are available for up to six people / for seven or more, please call.

Billadeubeulleu Seongsu hours and weekday lunch visit

Hours Closed every Monday Weekdays 11:00–21:00 Weekends 11:00–22:00

I visited around 12:30 on a weekday for lunch, and there were quite a few people, probably because it was lunchtime! I had reserved ahead, so I got in without waiting~

Billadeubeulleu Seongsu location and parking

✔️309 m from Exit 5 of Seoul Forest Station

From Exit 3 of Hongik University Station ▶️ walk straight ▶️ enter the alley beside Seven Eleven opposite Hollys, and you’ll see the Gusa sign on the right.

✔No parking. There is no separate parking lot in the building, so I recommend public transportation.

• Seongdong-gu Community Sports Center public parking lot (nearby, but waits can be long)
• Ttukseom Retention Basin public parking lot (a 5–10 minute walk, relatively little waiting and inexpensive)

A spacious open kitchen and terrace seating

Compared with the Haebangchon flagship, the Seongsu branch was more spacious and comfortable inside. I think it would be good for group gatherings too✨ And this location has an open kitchen as well👩🏻🍳

I thought the interior was pretty unique, and apparently it was designed as a space imagining an artist’s villa and studio somewhere on the coast of a southern European resort, holding the woman he misses..!

There are terrace seats like this where you won’t be bothered by the surroundings! Perfect for cool weather like these days🌿

Ordering is by QR code, and it was tucked right inside a scallop shell, haha

This lasagna is the restaurant’s signature✨ The cheese was incredibly silky and delicious. The meat tomato sauce was nicely seasoned and rich too!

You can also watch them pour the cheese-waterfall sauce right at your table, haha

Korean beef pepper steak taste

Korean Beef Pepper Steak (₩42,000)

It’s a French-style steak topped with pepper cream sauce🥩 It was cooked medium-rare, which was just right for me. And perhaps because it was Korean beef, the texture and flavor were great too :)

The fries served on the side were pretty delicious too🍟 Thin, soft, and crispy hahaha—addictive.

Dani’s overall verdict

This is a restaurant that can satisfy you whether you visit with family, a partner, friends, coworkers, or acquaintances. I highly, highly recommend it for everyday brunch, lunch, dinner, a special date, a blind date, a work dinner, a meaningful anniversary, a birthday, a family gathering, or even a wedding-invitation meet-up, haha
