I hadn't seen a friend in a while, and we both wanted meat, so we headed somewhere I'd been wanting to try: Cham Dwaejitgan, a pork belly restaurant in Bucheon's Sinjung-dong.
Bottom line up front: it's open 24 hours a day, every day, and the staff grill the meat for you, so it was an easy, comfortable meal. I'd recommend it for those sudden late-night cravings for meat, or for anyone who needs a no-reservation-needed spot for a work dinner.

Cham Dwaejitgan Sinjung-dong branch is 364m from Exit 3 of Sinjung-dong Station (Line 7), a 3-minute walk from Lotte Department Store. It's tucked into the alley between KFC and McDonald's, so it wasn't hard to find.

Arriving at 6:30pm with no reservation: the open window-side table
We showed up around 6:30pm without a reservation, but the restaurant is so spacious there was still a table. Judging by the crowd, it seemed like it would get busy on Friday evenings or weekends.
The weather was nice, so we sat at a table with the window open, and the cool breeze made it really pleasant.

Kiosk ordering and the 0-won perks corner
At Cham Dwaejitgan you order via kiosk, and side dishes are refilled yourself from a self-serve bar. The restroom is inside the restaurant, and near the register there's a separate "free perks" corner.
It was well stocked — hair ties, disposable mouthwash, mini Chupa Chups lollipops, dental floss, toothpicks, and even charging cables (Type-C, 5-pin, 8-pin).

What's on the menu at Cham Dwaejitgan
The menu is split into a Jirisan black pork line, a Boseong green tea-fed pork line, and side dishes.

Black pork belly for two with doenjang jjigae and steamed egg
We ordered black pork belly for two (₩38,000), doenjang jjigae (bean paste stew, ₩6,000), and steamed egg (₩5,000), and also received a free fried rice from a review event.

Jirisan black pork belly
The texture had both chewiness and tenderness at once. It was savory and clearly fresh-tasting, with a subtle chaff-smoked aroma running through it.

Doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew)
It was spicy and hearty, with tofu in it too. A great pairing to eat alongside the meat.
Steamed egg and the free fried rice
Eating the steamed egg together with the fried rice was heavenly. The fried rice in particular got a proper crust of scorched rice (nurungji) on the grill pan, turning out crispy — I scraped every last bit off.
What makes Cham Dwaejitgan different
Rice-husk smoking plus charcoal grilling
Just as the restaurant describes — smoking the meat with rice chaff for aroma, then grilling over charcoal for extra flavor — I could genuinely taste that subtle smoky note.
Grade 1 Boseong green-tea pork and Jirisan black pork
The menu notes they use Grade 1 Boseong pork fed green tea, along with Jirisan black pork, which gave me confidence in what I was eating.
Open 24 hours, with staff grilling for you
You can drop in without worry even during a sudden late-night craving, and having staff grill the meat made things easy. The service was pleasant too.
Don't miss the 0-won perks corner
Floss, charging cables, even plastic bags to protect your clothes — the corner is well stocked, so don't miss it.
