Half Hot Chicken Shrimp, half Sweet Potato Pizza

We ordered a half-and-half pizza: Hot Chicken Shrimp and Sweet Potato Pizza! I thought the spicy shrimp pizza and sweet potato pizza would make a lovely combination.

First, let me introduce the Sweet Potato Pizza. It is a savory cheese pizza topped with bacon and sweet potato mousse.

The yellow sweet potato topping over the white cheese base looked so pretty right from the start. Maybe that is why this Cheongju Bus Terminal restaurant gets so many date-night visitors.

The crust was about half the size of a pinky nail, making it perfect for enjoying the soft pizza with that lovely stretchy cheese! If you are looking for great pizza in Cheongju, I think this is worth a visit.

Cheese Wave pizza also came topped with sliced almonds. Every bite of almond with the Sweet Potato Pizza added texture and a nutty, mild flavor—it was a subtle little kick.

Hot Chicken Shrimp with sweet sweet chili sauce

The Hot Chicken Shrimp Pizza had a stronger sweet chili flavor than I expected. So I think even people who cannot handle spicy food could order it!!

This was also a cheese-based pizza, topped here and there with sausage, olives, shrimp, and chicken pieces! It would be great for olive lovers. And as you can see, it has lots of sweet chili sauce, so anyone who likes that flavor should enjoy this one.

Personally, the shrimp flavor came through more strongly! If you normally enjoy shrimp pizza or seafood pizza, I think you should order the Hot Chicken Shrimp Pizza.

When our pizza arrived, the restaurant turned on soft lighting too, making the atmosphere even nicer. So if you are looking for a pizza restaurant with a good atmosphere in Cheongju, I recommend visiting Cheese Wave near Cheongju Terminal.
