Honest review: napa cabbage Caesar salad, lasagna and truffle gnocchi

The three dishes I ordered at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch were the napa cabbage Caesar salad, lasagna, and truffle mushroom cream gnocchi. First, the napa cabbage Caesar salad was the dish my sister recommended.

Honestly, at first I was skeptical — could a salad really taste this good?

But with bacon, cheese, and seasoning piled generously on top of the napa cabbage, the texture was crunchy and the sauce was savory in a way that felt refreshingly different and delicious.

If you're coming for a Haeundae brunch, definitely order this one. I genuinely recommend it!

Why the ragu lasagna was the best dish of the meal

Next up was the lasagna, and out of the three dishes, this was the one that impressed me the most.

It's made with a house-simmered ragu sauce loaded with eggplant and cheese, and the first bite hits you with an instant burst of rich flavor.

Thanks to the eggplant, it's not greasy at all, and eaten while warm, the cheese stretches beautifully — it looks gorgeous too.

If you're looking for Haeundae pasta and end up at Bueokgan, be sure to check out the lasagna as well.

Truffle mushroom cream gnocchi: all about the chewy texture

Last was the truffle mushroom cream gnocchi. It's a creamy gnocchi with a variety of mushrooms and a subtle truffle aroma rising up.

The gnocchi itself was wonderfully chewy, and having the grilled mushrooms mixed in added another layer of fun to the texture.

The cream sauce is thick and nutty, so even ordering it alongside the lasagna, the flavors never felt like they were overlapping.

The staff were also incredibly kind, and I was satisfied with both the timing of the food coming out and the service overall. It felt like a place that nails atmosphere, taste, and service all at once!
