Can poke really be this filling!? I thought it was diet food, but this poke meal seriously brought the rice-powered fullness 😋
Today I’m back with a story about going out for poke, one of the things I’ve been finding myself craving pretty often lately~!~~!~!😉

Will I still be hungry after poke?
There are lots of poke lovers out there, right?! Eating poke makes me feel like I’m living such a healthy life, which is nice, but hahaha at the same time I was thinking, “But… won’t I be hungry after eating this?” 🤣

Salads and poke both have lots of vegetables, so they feel really filling while you’re eating them, but honestly… you know that feeling when you get hungry again a little while later 🥹

So even when I have poke, I tend to prefer something with rice or another hearty base…! 🫶🏻 And in that sense, I really liked the place I visited this time 🫶🏻 It was, of course… Salering Gyodae Direct Store (샐러링 교대직영점)‼️
K-bibim poke near Gyodae Station: Salering Gyodae Direct Store
This isn’t just a regular salad place—it’s said to specialize in K-bibim poke, combining poke with Korea’s culture of mixing food together 🫢🫢🫢

So instead of eating the ingredients separately, you add the sauce and mix everything together! I absolutely love this style hahaha. Koreans really do know that mixed is best, don’t we? 🤭

And Salering Gyodae Direct Store is near Gyodae Station, so it’s in a good spot for an office-worker lunch too 😉
After having stew, gukbap (rice soup), and meat every day, sometimes you crave something fresh 🌿 But a salad alone can feel a little lacking… and I think poke is just the perfect middle ground then 👍🏻

You get vegetables, protein, and rice, so it’s filling 💪🏻 Best of all, it comes in one bowl, so there’s no need to spend ages deciding what to eat hahaha.

A clean space that’s great for solo dining
The restaurant was clean and comfortable too, so it’s Goooood for coming to eat alone 💪🏻✨

(They even have cute phone stands, so it’s perfect for putting on YouTube as your mealtime companion hahaha 📱)

They’re also running a review event, so join in and make sure to grab an iced Americano too~🥰

The poke set came out faster than I expected, so the wait wasn’t long at all haha 🥗💗 I was hungry, and it arrived quickly—very satis-fied.

What came with the fresh salmon bibim poke set
Okay, okay, let me introduce what I ordered 👀💗 The set I tried this time was fresh salmon bibim poke with spicy bibim sauce, plus carrot tomato soup 🍅🥕 And a refreshing Kombu Talk Ade Pineapple to go with it~🍍

With poke, you can choose everything from the base to the toppings and dressing to suit your taste, so picking the menu was pretty fun too haha.

Maybe because I’m a salmon lover, but whenever I go to a poke place, I somehow look for salmon first hahaha 🐟💗 And since I’m definitely someone who needs rice to feel full, I chose the brown-rice base 🍚 hahaha.

Mixing it up with spicy bibim sauce
And this is the spicy bibim sauce I chose with it! Poke tastes sooooo different depending on the dressing or sauce, you know 👀 Rather than something bland, I like a little kick, so I picked the spicy bibim sauce this time haha.

With carrot tomato soup
And the soup included in the set!!! This soup was more of a treat than I expected haha. The tart taste of tomato was joined by the gentle sweetness of carrot, making it really nice to eat! 🍅

Having it with the poke, the warm soup made the meal feel even more substantial 🥹💗

Refreshing the palate with pineapple ade
And what I drank with the poke was Kombu Talk Ade Pineapple 🍍✨ It has that distinct sweet-tart pineapple flavor, so with the spicy poke, it felt like it totally refreshed my palate!

I liked that I could have a light meal while also getting that little detox-like feeling 🍍🥹💗

Overall, Salering was great for a filling yet clean-tasting meal 🥗💗 I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a healthy lunch near Gyodae Station. Off I go haha—another delicious meal today 🙏🏻
