Looking for a dog-friendly pension on Seonjae-do or Daebudo? I'd recommend Luna Beach Seonjae, which welcomes both small and large dogs! I stayed at Luna Beach, which has everything — seminar room, ocean view, pool, and barbecue.

Where is Luna Beach Seonjae, and what does it charge per dog?

Luna Beach Seonjae Hotel & Pension is on Seonjae-ro in Yeongheung-myeon, Ongjin-gun, Incheon. Check-in is at 3pm and check-out at 11am. The dog fee is ₩10,000 for dogs under 10kg and ₩20,000 for dogs 10kg and over — spa rooms and twin rooms allow up to 2 dogs, couple rooms up to 1.

Even when pensions say they're dog-friendly, large dogs usually aren't welcome — but at this dog-friendly pension on Daebudo, large dogs are totally OK! Bring your dogs and gather round 🤍🤍

There's also a spacious parking lot, so no need to worry about parking~!

There's an elevator, and the lobby that greets you as soon as you walk in was already lovely. Big windows let in warm sunlight, and it felt clean enough that you could tell right away this pension is run with real care!

How many people can stay in the twin room?

The Luna Beach Seonjae twin room has two large beds and fits up to 6 people (base 2, extra guest ₩20,000/person). The room felt so roomy it could fit 6 with space to spare — I shouted 'Whoa!! This is so big and nice?' the moment I walked in, haha.

When choosing a pension, I care a lot about comfort and cleanliness, and this room was so clean and had everything you'd need — I loved it! A clean pension recommendation on Daebudo, Luna Beach Hotel & Pension! I'd read that it had been remodeled, and it really was even cleaner than I expected — I was very pleased. The TV even has OTT apps.

You know how many pensions don't have a vanity table... For us girls, that's a must-have, and here the vanity table is huge and wide, haha. Several people could get ready at once. The sofa and table were also big, so it felt like a great room for a group of us to stay overnight.

Since it's a dog-friendly pension, you might worry the bed could feel a bit damp or off — don't worry at all!! It was super clean, no dampness whatsoever, just soft and cozy, haha.

There were extra blankets too, so you could use them if you have additional guests~ Since the room is so spacious, there's plenty of room to lay bedding down and sleep!

Is there an extra charge for an ocean-view room?

Extra charge for the ocean view? Nope, none at all — you get the ocean view right from the living room, right next to the bed!! And it's not just a peek of the sea, it's a wide-open view of the ocean 🤍🤍 So good.

Kitchen and bathroom in the twin room

Since the room itself is so spacious, the kitchen is also nicely roomy! There's a big dining table, perfect for both eating and sitting around chatting!!

Pots, bowls, and tableware are all clean and ready, and each room has its own rice cooker and microwave — loved that~! There's an induction stove too, so you can cook things other than really strong-smelling grilled/fried food.

The fridge and freezer both keep things well chilled, no worries there! And the space is big enough to fit all the food you bought with room to spare, haha.

One of the things I really care about when picking a pension is the bathroom!!! I always check bathroom photos closely before booking, and just like in the photos, it was really clean. Never felt uncomfortable using it, hot and cold water both worked great, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all provided! Just bring your own toothbrush 🤍 The room's clean, spacious, comfortable condition makes this an absolute must-recommend pension on Seonjae-do!

There's a pool right in front of the outdoor barbecue area!

The pool is also free to use!! The water looked really well maintained. Tubes, water guns, and life vests are all provided, so there's nothing extra you need to bring for water play~ It's over 1.5 meters deep, quite deep, so kids need an adult with them — and being that deep, it feels a bit like swimming in the actual sea!

And here's the dog pool! There's a separate pool just for dogs. This water also looked well kept.

There's a pet dry room too! Apparently once dogs go in, this machine automatically dries their fur!

And a big lawn where dogs can run around happily!! It's spacious with a few toys scattered around, so the dogs get really excited. There's a fence, so they can run around off-leash here! A big pool, a dog pool, and a lawn — all in one place, isn't that amazing, haha. If you're traveling with a dog, come heal at Luna Beach!! There's no reason not to recommend this dog-friendly pension on Daebudo, haha.

Is the barbecue outdoors or indoors?

Luna Beach Seonjae has both outdoor and indoor barbecue areas, so weather doesn't get in the way.

The outdoor area is right in front of the pool, under big parasols! Do it outdoors on a nice day like this — the weather was gorgeous and you can catch the sunset too!!

Once the sun sets, you can grill meat with this kind of view! The lights come on and it's such a cool, pretty spot to eat, haha.

The indoor barbecue area is also spacious and clean! Indoor barbecue spots that are fully enclosed can get tough because of the smoke, but this one is open-air, so that wasn't an issue~ And best of all, you can barbecue even on rainy days~~

I was so busy eating I barely got any photos of the meat, haha, but we ate so happily and so much 💖💖

Why the ground-floor restroom and shared kitchen made the barbecue easy

And having a restroom on the ground floor was really~~~~ great. As someone who goes to the bathroom often, this was exactly what I needed ㅠ In the past, needing to run back up to the room mid-barbecue to use the restroom was such a hassle, but here it's right next door, so convenient, haha.

Another thing I loved: the shared kitchen! Hauling supplies up and down while barbecuing is exhausting, but here almost everything you need is set up right next to the barbecue area — so convenient.

Disposable plates, cups, scissors, tongs — everything you need for barbecue is right there, so you don't have to carry anything heavy down from the room! Huge props to the owner ♥️ You can also self-pay for ramen, ssamjang (dipping sauce), water, snacks, and instant rice. No way I couldn't recommend this pension on Seonjae-do!?

Karaoke and billiards in the seminar room are free

Another thing this dog-friendly Daebudo pension has going for it! The seminar room!! Karaoke and billiards are both free to use.

Free, can you believe it!! Everything's free until 10pm. I genuinely had a blast here, haha. It's not some tiny space either — really spacious and just the best 🤍🤍 Given how big the seminar room is, it seemed like a great spot for a family gathering or even a company workshop.

Is Luna Beach Seonjae worth a night with your dog?

For a dog-friendly pension on Daebudo or Seonjae-do, I highly recommend Luna Beach Seonjae Hotel & Pension 💛💛 Both small and large dogs are welcome, the room is clean, the barbecue area has such a great atmosphere, and the seminar room can even fit a large group!! No reason not to recommend this Daebudo pension!! Such a comfortable, enjoyable stay at Luna Beach!! I'd recommend it as a place to stay on Daebudo or Seonjae-do 💖
