Smith's Farm (스미스씨네농장) is an Italian restaurant in Haeundae-gu, Busan, and a great spot for Western food in Haeundae. It’s already so well known that some of you may know it! Come out of Exit 4 at Dongbaek Station and follow your navigation app—it’s easy to find.

There are parking lots on both sides of the building, too. Just enter where the exit caution sign indicates. It’s a good place to visit by car.

We visited around lunchtime, and after we went in, the place filled up and there was a wait. I recommend booking ahead on Naver before visiting.

Even the waiting area is so cute, haha. The interior is neat, and it has a lovely atmosphere for a date.

Ordering the octopus steak and kabocha sweet-potato gnocchi

Smith's Farm’s signature dishes include gnocchi and octopus steak, and there are lots of other Western-style dishes, too. A friend had told me the octopus steak here was delicious, so I arrived with high expectations-!

They also have a variety of wines, alcoholic drinks, beverages, and coffees. I saw international guests having lunch with a glass of wine.

Chewy gnocchi and octopus with carrot purée

Kabocha sweet-potato gnocchi

The chewy dough and sauce were so delicious. Rather than being fluffy, it had a stronger chewiness, which made the texture great. You can really taste the sweet, nutty flavor unique to kabocha and sweet potato, haha. I love gnocchi, so I’m glad I ordered it!

Octopus steak

The chipotle, wasabi mayo, and wasabi sauces, plus the carrot purée around the edge, are the key here..! Make sure you dip into them 👍 The springy, tender octopus and grilled vegetables were sweet and nutty with the carrot purée, and everything went so well together.

Romaine salad

My sibling said the romaine salad was the best of all! Large, fresh romaine leaves came topped with various sauces and bacon chips, so there were lots of nice textures, too. The three dishes we ordered worked really well together. If we hadn’t been so full, we would’ve ordered one more slightly spicy dish… Such a shame we only have two mouths 🤣

The dishes at Smith's Farm were so tasty that we scraped up every last bit of sauce, hahaha. The food was great, of course, but every single sauce was delicious too.

From dates to group gatherings

There were groups of international guests too, and people of every age coming to Smith's Farm! With a kids’ pasta menu and desserts, it’s great for visiting with children; the atmosphere and food also make it perfect for wedding-invitation gatherings, meetups with friends, and dates. Now I’m so curious about the pizza, pasta, and risotto too..! Next time, I’ll come with a bigger group, order a variety of dishes, and try them all!! 🤩
