How are the location and parking?
It's a 1-minute walk from Exit 3 of Gangnam Station, haha. Head a little way uphill and you'll spot it right away~~~ It's also conveniently located for people using the Shinbundang Line, so it's a decent lunch spot for office workers too!!! There is no parking provided, so please use a nearby public parking lot (●ˇ∀ˇ●)
Hours and seating
Open daily from 10:30 to 23:00, with last orders at 22:20. There are very well-prepared seats for solo diners too, making it a good choice for either lunch or dinner~~~ This is a rice restaurant near Gangnam Station where you can enjoy filling Korean dishes including rice bowls and jjageuli (a thick Korean stew), and I love that there are lots of menu options (p≧w≦q) There are private rooms as well, so keep that in mind if you need to ask about reservations!!!
Rice bowl and jjageuli menu lineup

With meals designed to be enjoyed as a single bowl or a full set, like the rice bowls and jjageuli, it's perfect when you're looking to eat alone near Gangnam Station, haha. If you visit with a group, it's also great to order rice bowls and stew dishes separately and share them ♪(^∇^*) It's nice for an office-worker lunch, but also for dinner or a casual get-together!!!
From outdoor seats to group tables

There are outdoor seats too, so lately it's been lovely to eat outside in the cool evening breeze~~ You can order easily at the kiosk!!!

Everything is covered, from the solo dining zone to group tables, haha. The space is roomy, so tables seemed to turn over quickly too~~~

They sell meal kits too, which is so nice >< I was impressed by this thoughtful Korean restaurant near Gangnam Station: wet wipes, after-meal candy, and even mouthwash were ready for guests 💞
Seafood ssamjang pork rice bowl set
I went all in with the spicy beef brisket doenjang jjageuli, a seafood ssamjang pork rice bowl set, and two gim-mari twigim (fried seaweed rolls), haha.

Here comes the seafood ssamjang pork rice bowl set~~ You could choose the meat, and I picked pork neck!! This rice bowl brings together house-made ssamjang (a savory soybean dipping paste) with seafood and fire-grilled pork belly—amazing, right? (❁´◡`❁)

The rice was piled generously with meat, mushrooms, shishito peppers, and shredded scallions!! Such a perfect match ><

The smoky flavor came through, along with seafood ssamjang. That ssamjang gives it a taste that's a little different from an ordinary pork rice bowl!!!

Even kimchi stew came as a side—absolutely perfect, haha. A solo meal this generous is just pure happiness~~

The earthy, salty savoriness distinctive to ssamjang went so well with the rice that I kept reaching for it, while the umami of the fire-grilled pork belly kicked up my appetite every so often!!!

It paired unbelievably well with the kimchi stew in particular, so please do try the seafood ssamjang pork rice bowl set. It has a special flavor you won't regret trying~~

Spicy beef brisket doenjang jjageuli
This is the beef brisket doenjang jjageuli >< A traditional Jeolla-style doenjang jjageuli deeply simmered with special doenjang (fermented soybean paste) and fire-grilled beef brisket, haha. You can choose the spice level, so I went spicy!!!
When I saw the jjageuli bubbling away, the earthy aroma of doenjang hit me first~~ The beef brisket made it feel even richer!!! The broth was thick and just saucy enough, so it was great alongside rice, hahaha. It was packed with ingredients like tofu, zucchini, and onion too, so I was really excited (✿◡‿◡)

The beef brisket's rich meaty flavor blending into the doenjang base is the key feature, haha. Jjageuli is at its absolute best when you mix it with seaweed flakes and a fried egg like this, right!!! Its earthy, salty flavor went incredibly well with rice—so good 👍

A light add-on of fried seaweed rolls
I tried two fried seaweed rolls as well!! The crisply fried rolls were great alongside seasoned dishes like jjageuli or rice bowls~~~ It's not an overly filling side, so it's just right as a light add-on to your main dish!!!
