Suji vintage shop in Yongin: two shirts for ₩110,000 at TOKYO USED

TOKYO USED Flagship Store in Yongin is a spacious, comfortable 300-pyeong shop where you can browse everything from vintage clothing to bags, accessories, and luxury goods. The condition of the items was clean and the prices reasonable, so it was easy to shop without any pressure.

It felt like fall had suddenly arrived that weekend! The weather was cool and it was too nice a day to stay home.

My friend and I planned a Yongin date and went to Dongbaek Lake Park, but it felt like a waste to just part ways after that, so I looked for more things to do nearby. That's how I found this place — a vintage shop in Gogiri that keeps getting recommended as a place to visit: TOKYO USED Flagship Store.

How big is TOKYO USED? A 300-pyeong vintage shop in Yongin

TOKYO USED Flagship Store's Yongin, Gyeonggi location sells everything from vintage clothing to bags and accessories. What struck me most was that the whole building is used as the store, and it's apparently about 300 pyeong in size. I heard it's quietly becoming a popular Bundang date spot too.

When I think of a vintage shop, I usually imagine clothes crammed tightly into a small space, but this place was on a completely different scale.

Gogi-ri date course: what the drive to TOKYO USED is like

The address of TOKYO USED Flagship Store's Yongin location is 8 Ijongmu-ro169beon-gil, Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. My friend, who lives in Bundang, didn't even know a Bundang-area vintage shop like this existed and was curious, so we headed straight there together.

I thought this would be a great stop on a Gogiri date because there are so many good restaurants and cafés nearby, plus a valley. Instead of a shopping-only trip, you could eat, grab coffee, browse this vintage shop, and even go for a drive if the weather's nice — a solid Bundang date course.

It was a bit surprising to find such a large vintage shop in the Seoul metro area. And the parking lot was spacious too, so it was convenient to visit by car!

From luxury labels to everyday prices on floor 1

While looking for places to visit around Bundang, I found that TOKYO USED Flagship Store's Yongin location sells everything from cheap items to luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Tiffany. So my expectations were already rising before I even walked in. I went in thinking, 'I'm definitely finding something today,' with high hopes.

Visiting TOKYO USED Flagship Store's Yongin location for a Seongnam-area date, the store atmosphere itself won me over right away. Everything felt so clean and comfortable, with almost none of that chaotic vintage-shop feel.

I've been to a few vintage shops before, and personally, this one stood out for good product quality at reasonable prices.

I've been to Dongmyo Market before too, but personally it was hard to check the condition of items, hard to find what I wanted, and the prices weren't as cheap as I expected.

But TOKYO USED Flagship Store's Yongin location was neatly organized, so it was easy to browse around. Best of all, everything had a price tag.

I'm the type of person who gets a little nervous asking the price when I find something I like at a vintage shop, but here the prices were right there, so I could shop at ease.

Luxury pieces under ₩100,000 at TOKYO USED

Browsing at ease, I spotted brands like Vivienne Westwood, Maison Margiela, Prada, and Dior — just seeing the names was exciting, haha. And it wasn't all super expensive stuff either. There were quite a few items available for under ₩100,000, so it was also nice for light, casual shopping.

There were also Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags, and I was surprised how many were under ₩1,000,000. Browsing the luxury vintage items was a lot of fun too.

I thought it would only be clothes and bags, but there were ties, perfumes, and shoes too, so there was so much to look at. I thought a vintage shop would just be packed with clothes, but with all the accessories and fashion items as well, a full lap around the store took quite a bit of time.

Vintage Dior necklace, about ₩250,000

A vintage Dior necklace in particular caught my eye — it was priced around ₩250,000. My friend offered to buy it for me, but I'd just received a Bulgari B.zero1 necklace from her not long ago, so I held off this time. Once I got home though, I felt a little regretful, haha.

People are so fickle. I said it was fine in the moment, but once I got home I kept thinking, why didn't I buy it, haha. I'll have to visit again on our next Bundang date and grab it then if it's still there.

Glasses and sunglasses on the first floor

There was also a wide range of glasses and sunglasses. Quite a few of them suited me surprisingly well, and I considered getting a pair as a fashion item, but on second thought I don't really wear glasses often, so I set them back down.

That's the fun of a vintage shop, I think — discovering items you'd never normally think about.

After browsing, I went up to the second floor.

Floor 2: women's wear and tweed jackets in the ₩30,000s

The second floor of TOKYO USED Flagship Store's Yongin location was mostly women's wear. What caught my eye here was the tweed jackets.

There were some pretty pieces, so my friend and I each picked one to try on. There was even a rest area in front of the fitting rooms, which was nice, and the fitting rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were also spacious and clean, by the way.

Best of all, the staff weren't hovering over us the whole time, so we could try things on at ease.

I tried on two tweed jackets — one in a dark color, one in a lighter color. Both looked decent, but my friend said the lighter one was much prettier and looked elegant. She even said it would be perfect for a sangyeollye (formal meeting between families before marriage) and pushed me to buy it. It was priced in the ₩30,000s, and the quality was much better than expected, so it seemed like a great value.

But thinking about my closet, I already had way too many jackets. In the end, I admitted it was pretty, but passed on it this time.

Back to floor 1 to shop Polo shirts in the ₩60,000s

Then we went back down to the first floor. This time I decided to buy a shirt, since I've been wearing them a lot lately whatever the season. Looking around, there were Polo shirts everywhere.

Most were priced in the ₩60,000s. To switch up my friend's style a bit — and so I could borrow it from her later — I picked out a Polo denim shirt for her.

At first she said it wasn't really her thing, but once she tried it on she liked it more than expected and bought it right away. Clothes really do look different in person than they do just by eye.

A Lacoste striped shirt in the ₩30,000s: two shirts, ₩110,000

While looking for a Polo shirt for myself, I found a pink striped Lacoste shirt priced in the ₩30,000s. The fit looked great and the fabric was thin, so I was instantly drawn to it. Since I hate getting tanned these days, I wear long shirts even in summer, and this was exactly the style I was looking for. With the price this reasonable too, I just couldn't pass it up.

In the end I bought two shirts, the Lacoste and the Polo, and the total came to just ₩110,000. Considering the price, it was a pretty satisfying shopping trip.

Is TOKYO USED worth it for a Yongin date or family outing?

I didn't expect a place like this to exist in Yongin — it ended up being more fun than I thought. Especially if you're tired of always defaulting to a café or a movie theater when deciding on a Bundang date, adding a vintage shop like this to the course is a good idea.

With plenty of good restaurants and cafés nearby, and a nice drive to boot, it's a great fit for a Yongin date or a family outing course. I'm planning to visit again to slowly browse the items I couldn't buy this time. And I definitely need to go eat dakbaeksuk (whole chicken stew) at the Gogiri valley next time, haha.
