Sweet potato mousse pizza in the annex at Didi's Pizza Pub, Jongno

It had been almost a year since I'd seen my friend visiting from Canada, so while figuring out what to eat, she said Korean pizza is definitely good, so we went looking for a great pizza place.

Didi's Pizza Pub, a spot known among Jongno District Office and Jonggak Station regulars, sits between Gwanghwamun Station and City Hall Station and near Jongno District Office, making it perfect for a drink with coworkers at lunch or dinner. And there were quite a lot of foreign visitors too, haha! Korean pizza seems to suit foreign palates too — except, of course, Italians lol.

Main hall vs. annex, and the scene at 6:15pm

I walked straight into the storefront location of Didi's Pizza Pub, which turned out to be the main hall, and a staff member guided me further in to the annex instead. It seems business is so good they expanded. There are so many companies nearby that a lot of people come looking for this place.

I headed straight over after work and arrived around 6:15pm. At that point there were only about 3 tables in the main hall and I was the only one in the annex. But by the time I left, it was completely full. I thought about staying to chat longer but headed out for round two at a café instead, haha. Most people seemed to be coworkers out together. If you ever have a work dinner, I think it'd be great to reserve ahead and spend the evening with pizza and beer.

Kiosk ordering and rank-named sets

Ordering is done via kiosk. Besides pizza, there's plenty of pasta, salad, and sides like fries. The funny part is the set names lol — there are sets for Staff, Assistant Manager, Manager, Deputy General Manager, and even General Manager, each named after a corporate rank haha.

There's a wide range of drinks too. Highball, Kirin draft, Asahi draft, and more — draft beer lovers should be satisfied. They're also running a 4+1 promotion, so it's a great spot for pizza and beer with a group, right?

Handmade-dough Didi's Buldak Pizza

The first dish to arrive was the handmade-dough Didi's Buldak Pizza (spicy fire chicken pizza). It's topped with spicy chicken, mushrooms, and onion, finished with buldak (fire chicken) sauce. It's not overly spicy, just pleasantly hot, so I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to try something a little different.

Didi's Pizza Pub near Jongno District Office and Jonggak Station is beloved by office workers around Gwanghwamun and Jonggak, and apparently sees a lot of birthday parties, promotion celebrations, and team dinners.

Handmade-dough Didi's Sweet Potato Pizza

The second order was the Didi's Sweet Potato Pizza, and honestly this one was my favorite. I already love sweet potato mousse, but even though the pizza itself is small, the mousse was piled on generously — no holding back! That's exactly why I loved it even more. Owner, are you sure you're making any money putting on this much?! Haha, thank you!!!

The sweet, sweet potato mousse is genuinely delicious, so please do order it, haha. The buldak pizza was great too, but my one pick is definitely the Didi's Sweet Potato Pizza~~~!
