Wedding nails in Apgujeong Rodeo, three days before the ceremony
With just three days to go before the wedding, I stopped by Naeil Didi (내일디디), a nail salon known for wedding nails in Apgujeong Rodeo, after work!! I took the subway, and it was just a three-minute walk from Exit 6 of Apgujeong Rodeo Station. If you drive, they said paid parking in the building is available if you text your vehicle number during the morning. Valet parking is available too, haha.

Naeil Didi was on the sixth floor of the building.

The moment I walked in, it was packed with customers..!! I thought, yep, this place really is popular, haha.

The pedicure area was separated like this. The salon was neat and had an overall relaxing atmosphere, so I could enjoy the appointment comfortably.

Choosing a simple design to match the dress
While I waited, I looked around at the nail art, and as you would expect from a wedding-nail specialist, there were so many sparkly, pretty designs. Those were all so pretty too, but my dress was not exactly super simple, so I decided to keep the nails simple! Haha. We looked at photos of my dress together and thought it over. They did not just match the design I wanted—they recommended options with the mood of the dress in mind, which really helped me choose. My nails were not very long, so extensions would probably have looked prettier, but I cannot stand having long nails.. haha. So I decided to go ahead without them~

Careful nail care from the start
First, time for nail care~~

They were so thorough and attentive that I could immediately see how neat my nails looked after the care. When I got nails for a shoot recently, I think the cuticles may have been removed a little badly because I got hangnails around them a few days later. This time, though, nothing like that—so neat and clean~~ They kept checking my nails during the appointment and refining them carefully, which I loved.

Once the nail care was done, they applied the base coat and cured it under the lamp.

A soft shade with a subtle powder finish
Next came choosing the color, and they applied three shades to different nails. Shades one and two looked similar to my eyes, while number three looked a little deeper. I wanted a soft, delicate feel, so I chose the second shade~

After all the color was applied, it was time for the powder finish!! They recommended a powder that is popular for wedding nails, so I tried the one they suggested. Once the powder went on, it added a subtle shimmer that definitely gave it that wedding-nail feel, haha. They carefully applied the top coat at the end too, leaving the surface smooth with a beautiful glossy finish. Then they wiped my hands clean with a warm towel, and even applied nail nourishment before I left, which felt thoughtful right through to the end.

Natural, neat nails for the big day
After getting my nails done~~~ Since these were nails for right before my wedding, I was worried about what I would do if I did not like them. But they came out exactly how I wanted: natural, neat, and pretty, so I loved them so much. They were not overly flashy, but the powder gave them a gentle sparkle that made my hands look much cleaner, haha. I also thought they would go beautifully with my dress without standing out too much, so I was really glad I chose them as my wedding nails!

Thanks to these, I am already excited because I think my hands will look pretty even in the wedding photos that show them!! The wear is supposed to be good too, so I think they will stay pretty throughout the honeymoon. I was even happier to hear that they last about a month on average!
