What did I want tidied up in my short men’s haircut?

It felt like I had gotten a haircut only recently, but it had already grown shaggy. With short hair, even a little growth seemed to change the overall shape.

The senior manager did not start cutting right away. They first looked at the current condition and texture of my hair, then asked about the style I usually wanted as part of the consultation.

After the consultation, they trimmed my hair while considering the overall balance. Small differences show with short hair, and it felt like they worked through it carefully.

In particular, once the lines around the sides and back were cleaned up, it looked much neater.

During the haircut, I noticed the gray hairs that had been bothering me and asked for color as well. It was an additional request midway through, but they were able to continue with it that day.

Because my hair is short, I worried that the color might stand out too much or look patchy. Once it was done, though, it felt well matched to the overall hairstyle, which I was happy with.

What was the wait like when visiting with children?

While I waited for the color, they brought drinks and refreshments. Having snacks and drinks made the wait less tedious.

Just as the children who came with me were starting to get bored, I found the kids’ zone in the salon. Waiting time can be a concern when going to a hair salon with children, so I was glad there was a space like this.

Was I satisfied with the final styling after shampooing?

After shampooing the color out, they checked the overall condition of the haircut again. They trimmed any areas that needed it once more, so it felt like the service remained careful through the end.

After the styling was finished, I looked in the mirror and saw that it had been shaped into the look I had wanted during the initial consultation. I liked my hair enough to take several photos. I wanted to go straight to a meeting, but it was time to head home, which was a little disappointing.

On this visit, I was satisfied with having the side and back lines cleaned up along with gray coverage. From the consultation through the additional touch-up after shampooing, everything was handled carefully, and I would like to ask for the same stylist for my next haircut.
