Let me introduce a private-room restaurant near Seocho Station and Gyodae Station that is also great for company dinners!

Hours, Location, and Parking

• Monday–Saturday 11:00–21:30 (Saturdays are by reservation only; break time 15:00–17:00)
• Regularly closed every Sunday
• Free parking available (with a ground-level parking lot)
• Separate restrooms for men and women
• On basement level 1; use the stairs or elevator

The Dining Hall and Private-Room Atmosphere

Huiyeol Seocho Gyodae Branch (희열 서초교대점) sits about halfway between Seocho Station and Gyodae Station on Line 2. It is about a five-minute walk from Exit 7 or 8 at Seocho Station, or Exit 10 at Gyodae Station!!

Parking was free, and the spacious ground-level lot was so convenient. I visited on a weekday evening, and there were about two spaces open.

There is an entrance down the stairs on one side, and if stairs are inconvenient, you can enter the building on the left and use the elevator!

The men's and women's restrooms were separate, and nice and clean!

Here is the restaurant entrance, haha. The entrance is different depending on whether you come down the stairs or arrive by elevator, haha.

Once inside, the spacious dining-hall seating is the first thing you see!

There were private rooms prepared on one side, too. With these rooms, it seemed like a great place for group gatherings, wedding-invitation get-togethers, company dinners, or family meet-the-parents meetings.

They can accommodate small groups, and the middle wall can be opened up to make the room larger, which looked great.

It looks just right for a company dinner near Gyodae Station. There was alcohol on one side too, with an incredibly wide selection!!

Main Korean Beef, Pot Rice, and Set-Meal Menu

The main offerings were Korean beef, pot rice, and Korean set meals. They also have lunch set meals, so it seems like a good lunch spot as well.

The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious, so I think you would be satisfied coming here for a Gyodae company dinner!

What I Ordered

• Marinated beef rib meat, 180 g ₩29,000, ordered 2 servings (meat dishes require a minimum order of 2 servings)
• Korean beef ugeoji hot pot ₩45,000
• Geumtae pot rice ₩23,000
• Seasonal pot rice ₩6,000
• Jipyeong makgeolli ₩6,000
• Steamed rice ₩2,000

First, a full shot of everything we ordered!! Meat dishes required at least two servings, and the geumtae pot rice came with seven side dishes and soup.

Grilled Marinated Beef Rib Meat

This is two servings of marinated beef rib meat (180 g, ₩29,000)! What I loved was that the meat came fully grilled!!! The bones had been removed too, haha.

It was so nice for coming with parents or children because there was no meat smell and you could eat comfortably right away. At a company dinner, the person grilling the meat has it rough... so it was great not having to worry about grilling, haha. This really is a place worth recommending for a Gyodae company dinner.

It came on a hot stone plate, so the meat stayed warm for a long time. The marinated beef rib meat was incredibly tender and delicious ㅠㅠ The portion was generous too—a dish I would want again on my next visit!

Geumtae Pot Rice with Generous Side Dishes

We also ordered one geumtae pot rice, and I loved how generous and tasty the seven side dishes that came with it were..!! It is pot rice topped with geumtae, a premium fish. It was my first time trying this fish, and it was delicious.

Somewhere between okdom and gulbi, perhaps..? It was tender, with a nicely crisp grilled exterior, and really delicious.

Refreshing and Hearty Korean Beef Ugeoji Hot Pot

I was craving something brothy, so we ordered the Korean beef ugeoji hot pot—and it was a dish I was really happy with, haha.

The broth was refreshing, and it was packed with ugeoji (outer cabbage leaves) and Korean beef, so I loved the generous portion. Steamed rice is not included separately with this dish, so add it if you need rice!

Seasonal Pot Rice and Makgeolli

The seasonal pot rice (₩6,000), Jipyeong makgeolli (₩6,000), and steamed rice (₩2,000) were side orders. They were good value, and even tastier alongside the dishes, haha. The seasonal pot rice was especially good with seasonal corn on top!

Warm Gangnaengi for Dessert

To finish, gangnaengi (puffed corn)!! It was a dessert by the exit, and it tasted even better because it was kept warm, haha. If you like gangnaengi, definitely try it!!
