Gangnam brunch café with terrace and cream pasta: Le Bon Goûter

I had brunch at Le Bon Goûter (르봉구떼) near Apgujeong Rodeo, ordering the chicken Caesar salad and shrimp mushroom cream pasta. Galettes are the signature menu here, but I was also happy with the salad and pasta I tried.

Was the chicken Caesar salad filling?

There was a generous portion of grilled chicken over fresh vegetables, so it was filling. Since it was grilled rather than fried, it felt less heavy, and the skin was crisp. The chicken also went well with the Caesar dressing.

Was the shrimp mushroom cream pasta too rich?

I chose it because I wanted a cream sauce, and I was satisfied. The sauce was smooth, with plenty of shrimp and mushrooms. To my taste, it had less of the usual heaviness of cream pasta, so I finished it cleanly.

The noodles were cooked to a good texture, making it a nice brunch dish.
