Why did I try it instead of cleansing oil?

I used to use cleansing oil to remove makeup. I found it inconvenient that the thin formula ran down my wrist while I was massaging it in or emulsifying it with water. After trying a cleansing balm for blackhead care, I reached for it more often because its solid texture did not run while I applied it to my face.

My husband tried it too and said it felt more convenient than cleansing oil. On days when I had not worn sunscreen or makeup, I would lightly wash with cleansing foam, and I used cleansing balm when I needed blackhead care. Lately, I have been wearing tone-up cream more often, so I switched to this HEEDA product.

What are the texture and listed ingredients of HEEDA Cleansing Balm like?

It is a firm solid balm, but it melted smoothly against skin warmth and turned into an oil. Still, it was not a formula that ran thinly from the start, so the application process was comfortable.

The product states that it contains 10,000 ppm of Korean Jirisan charcoal powder and 13 naturally derived ingredients, including moringa, mugwort, camellia oil, rice bran, and green tea. A dedicated spatula is stored inside the lid, making it easy to scoop out the amount I needed.

How did I use it for blackheads and makeup removal?

• I applied it evenly to a dry face.
• I massaged it mainly over areas where blackheads and pores bothered me.
• For heavier makeup, I wiped it away with a light, massage-like motion.
• I emulsified it with a small amount of water, then rinsed with lukewarm water.

I thought blackheads or old sebum would be difficult to remove all at once, so I used it for ongoing care. In my case, the blackheads that had caught my eye looked less noticeable after washing, and it removed makeup well too.

Why would I consider repurchasing it?

The non-runny texture and spatula made the process comfortable. I was also happy with how my skin felt after washing following blackhead and sebum care, so I think I would look for it again once I finish it.
