I was in Seongsu over the weekend and it was so hot that I went looking for a nearby café — I heard there was a soufflé pancake specialty café near Seoul Forest, so I headed there right away with high expectations!

It's open daily from 12:00 to 21:00, with soufflé last orders at 20:00 and drink last orders at 20:30. There are no breaks or closed days, and for parking you can use the Seongdong-gu Citizens' Sports Center public parking lot, which is paid at ₩700 per 10 minutes.

On a 39°C heatwave day, 2nd-floor indoor seats instead of the terrace
To get to the 2nd floor, you open a sliding door and go up the stairs!
The terrace seats were also so pretty and nice. But the day I visited it hit 39°C, so sitting outside was just... not happening 🤣 I went straight up to the 2nd floor. I bet the terrace seats are amazing in spring and fall!
Go up the stairs and you'll find the 2nd-floor indoor seating.
The 2nd floor was also very spacious with plenty of seats, but there were a lot of other guests so I couldn't get a full shot of the interior haha... The wood-tone interior has a cozy vibe, so it seems like a great spot for a date.
The windows were big too, so it didn't feel cramped at all, and it was nice to relax while looking out at the green scenery! 🍀
There were restrooms on both the 1st and 2nd floors. They were unisex, but very well maintained — clean, with a nice air-freshener scent!
From order to soufflé: 10 minutes
I ordered on the 1st floor and got a buzzer! I ordered the fresh mango soufflé, an iced dutch americano, and an iced vanilla latte. Since the soufflé is made to order, it takes a bit of time. Looking at reviews, it seems like it can take over 30 minutes when it's busy! Since I went at a time that wasn't crowded, I waited about 10 minutes before the buzzer went off, and I grabbed it right away 😆✨
How does the ₩23,000 fresh mango soufflé taste?
Aaah ~ 💖 the fresh mango soufflé's look is amazing! The soufflé came as two layers of pancake, so the portion was surprisingly generous!! The cream was so fluffy and sweet — so delicious~ 😋
The fresh mango was also cut into easy-to-eat pieces, which was nice.
True to a soufflé pancake specialty shop, there wasn't a trace of eggy taste and it was so fluffy and delicious! It melted the moment it hit my mouth haha😆 The round thing on top turned out to be mango sherbet~
Since it's made right when you order, I got to enjoy it warm. It was piled high with sweet fresh mango too, so eating it together with the fluffy soufflé made it even more delicious~
Iced dutch americano and vanilla latte
Here's the iced vanilla latte and iced dutch americano. The americano wasn't espresso-based but cold brew, and it was clean and strong — really good. It paired so well with the sweet soufflé! The vanilla latte was also great to drink cool and sweet, and I liked that it wasn't too sweet~~!
