Euljiro 3-ga pub for Lemon Hof and fresh shrimp chips: Eulsam Hof

I went to Eulsam Hof (을삼호프), a place in Euljiro with great draft beer, with my younger sibling! The vibe was so good, exactly what you'd expect from "Hipjiro" (hip Euljiro)!!

Where is Eulsam Hof Euljiro Main Branch, and what's the atmosphere like?

Eulsam Hof Euljiro Main Branch (을삼호프 을지로본점) is a short walk from Euljiro 3-ga Station Exit 11, so you get there in no time!! It's so close to the station that the location is great!!

Inside, it's an Euljiro 3-ga pub with that old-school hof (Korean draft beer pub) feel, full of retro charm!

Eulsam Hof menu and prices: what did we order?

You scan a QR code to see the menu and order!! The menu is packed with classic hof food: whelk and grilled cuttlefish, plus all kinds of dried snacks and light bites, and there were really a lot of beers!! After some debating, this is what we ordered!

How were the Lemon Hof and Pom Pom beer?

The beers came out first! The Lemon Hof was really good, maybe because it has fresh lemon in it! My sibling ordered the Pom Pom beer, and apparently drinking it fast is the best way to enjoy it! Drinking it quickly, they said it was really good!! It's smooth, which made it even better!!

A total Euljiro gem!! If you love draft beer, it's worth coming just for the draft!!

Eulsam whelk tastes best piled on cabbage

Next up was Eulsam Hof's Eulsam whelk (골뱅이, sea snail; ₩17,000)!! Can you see how good that looks!! I totally recommend it as an Euljiro 3-ga pub! If you like whelk, it's a perfect spot for a second round!

The Eulsam whelk really is best piled on cabbage! This combo was so good!! The portion isn't overwhelming, so I think it's also good for anyone looking for a place to drink solo in Euljiro!!

Eulsam Hof's top pick: grilled cuttlefish

Next was Eulsam Hof's grilled cuttlefish (갑오징어구이; ₩19,000)!! It was grilled so appetizingly, and the smell alone was amazing!!! Plump cuttlefish, and the sauce was perfect too! I totally recommend it for a light, tasty snack or a second round in Euljiro!!!

I put the cuttlefish on cabbage with the sauce and had it with ice-cold beer, and the beer tasted even better!!! When the beer is this good, it feels like anything tastes great with it!! I wanted to try more beers, but I was too full, which is my only regret..!!🥹

Fresh shrimp chips to finish

Last, we ordered the fresh shrimp chips (생새우깡; ₩6,000) to finish!! Just like the name says, you really can't stop reaching for them!! They go so well with beer and are really nutty and savory!! If you're already full, I recommend the shrimp chips!!

I think we had a lovely time chatting away with my sibling!!
