Changwon hair salon for a wavy bob perm: Vivienne Hair

My previous perm had loosened a lot, making my short bob look flat, so I went to Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch (비비엔느헤어 창원상남점) on a weekday afternoon to add large curls again. I showed them a photo of the style I wanted and got an Object perm.

Where is the salon, and how does underground parking work?

The salon is in Room 201 on the second floor at 23 Danjeong-ro, Seongsan-gu, Changwon. The original post lists its hours as 10:00–21:00 daily, and says pets are allowed and hair spa services are available.

There is only one entrance and exit for the underground parking garage, so I needed to be careful when entering and leaving. On the weekday afternoon I visited, there was more parking space than I expected.

I parked on B1 and took the elevator. There was no barrier gate, but a notice said that people who were not visiting the building's businesses could be charged ₩50,000. The original post did not clearly explain what this amount was for.

For parking, I was instructed to collect a visitor pass from the salon before leaving and put it in the paper box by the parking-garage elevator.

After taking the elevator to the second floor, I found the salon on the right.

What was the salon atmosphere like during the treatment?

The floor-to-ceiling windows caught my eye as soon as I entered. They looked out onto other commercial buildings, but the open view did not feel cramped. Sunlight made the salon bright, and the space itself was roomy.

The entrance also gave a neat impression.

In the middle of the salon, snacks and drinks were available to have during the treatment.

What did the bob perm cost, and how was booking?

I showed them a reference photo because I wanted a short bob with large curls. I received an Object perm, which cost ₩110,000. The price was stated upfront, and in my case I felt comfortable because I was not encouraged to pay a length surcharge or add other treatments.

I booked in advance through Naver. I liked that the booking process included an option to choose how much conversation I wanted. There was also a notice for a 20% first-visit treatment discount at the time, but the original post does not say whether ₩110,000 was before or after the discount.

How did the bob perm proceed, and how long did it take?

Although I had washed my hair at home, they washed it once more before the treatment. They rinsed it thoroughly, so it felt fresh without any sense of shampoo left behind, and I was especially pleased with that part.

They trimmed my hair to suit the length, then started the perm.

It looked like they placed warmed tools inside the rollers to apply heat. I do not know the exact mechanism, but the waiting time did not feel long.

I had water and snacks while waiting, and the entire perm took about two hours. Since I tend to get bored sitting for a long time, I was happy with the duration.

Did I get the large bob curls I wanted?

Before the treatment, my previous perm had loosened a lot and my hair felt flat.

When my hair was washed after the perm, the curls looked small, and I worried that they might turn out too tight. But after it was blow-dried, it settled into the short bob with large curls I wanted. It felt very close to the reference photo I had shown them, so I liked it.

What I liked about this visit was getting the curls I wanted and being charged the stated price without pressure for add-ons. The treatment was finished in about two hours in a bright, spacious setting, and with underground parking available, I would like to visit again.
