Changwon hair salon for a short bob volume perm: Vivienne Hair

I visited Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch (비비엔느헤어 창원상남점) because I wanted a neat, voluminous change while keeping my short bob length. Rather than heavily bent waves, I wanted a short bob volume perm with natural root lift.

Where is the salon, and what was it like?

The salon is on the second floor at 23 Danjeong-ro, in the central Sangnam-dong area of Seongsan-gu, Changwon. I found it convenient to reach by public transportation, and its location in a busy area made it easy to pair my visit with other plans or shopping.

The interior felt modern yet warm and was kept clean. The staff welcomed me kindly, so I felt comfortable even on my first visit. After confirming my reservation, they had me store my belongings in a locker and showed me to my seat.

What did they check during the short bob volume perm consultation?

In a one-on-one consultation with the stylist, I described the volume and curl look I wanted. The stylist looked at my usual hair-styling habits, my hair thickness and level of damage, and my head shape and face shape. They also explained the order of the treatment in detail, so I could understand the process before it began.

How were the solution application and heat treatment?

They carefully applied the perm solution along with a nourishing treatment suited to my hair type. While I waited for the solution to absorb, I was given a warm drink and a snack.

After the solution was processed, they wrapped the curls around rods to set them. During the heat treatment, they checked from time to time whether I felt any tingling or heat. I remember how attentive they were to any discomfort during the service.

How did the finished short bob curls and volume look?

After the service, my hair was rinsed in the shampoo room and I also received a scalp massage. Back at my seat, I could see the curls and volume come alive as my hair was dried with a hairdryer.

Once the drying was finished, the ends curled inward in soft C-curls, with natural volume at the roots. To my eyes, my face shape also looked a little slimmer. I was happy with the natural short bob style I had wanted.

Did I receive at-home styling guidance too?

The stylist showed me how to shake-dry my hair on my own at home and gave me tips on applying essence to help the curls last longer. Receiving styling guidance as well seemed like it would help with getting ready for work in the morning.

What I liked about this visit was being able to discuss the style I wanted in detail and having the staff check on my comfort during the service. Beyond the finished curls and volume, the at-home care guidance also stood out to me.
