A drive-stop café near The Garden of Morning Calm

It is near The Garden of Morning Calm, so it fit perfectly into our route! Such a great location to stop by while out for a drive.

The first things that caught my eye when I walked in were the two amazing motorcycles by the entrance! Their designs were so cool that I stared at them for quite a while. (No secret that I was thinking, “Ah, I want to ride one~”...) There was a family visiting with their child, and their little boy’s eyes lit right up when he saw the motorcycles—it was the cutest thing ever!!! Haha

The pet corner and courtyard atmosphere

One side of the café has such a beautifully arranged “pets only” corner! From water bowls for the doggies to thoughtful notices, I was touched by the owner’s attention to detail~~~~ Next time, I promised myself I would definitely bring our little cutie along!

Cafe Imchori’s biggest draw is its wonderfully open high ceiling and the courtyard right in the middle of the café! Above the tall birch tree in the center of the courtyard, the blue autumn sky opens right up~~~ It was truly beautiful to see the sunlight softly filtering in. Sipping a cup of coffee in that warm sunshine, I thought, this is what healing feels like~~~ Haha

It was so pretty under the autumn sky, but I also thought, “This place must be incredibly atmospheric on a rainy or snowy day.” Haha I became curious about every season here, so I quietly made a mental note to come back when rain or snow is in the forecast! The interior was clean and comfortable, too!

Handmade desserts and coffee

Let me introduce the menu and desserts!

Every dessert at Cafe Imchori is handmade in-house! And seeing that they use only dairy whipping cream made me trust the desserts even more~~~ We ordered an iced café latte, iced Americano, honey sweet potato cake, and a salted chocolate financier!

The café latte I love had a subtle coffee-bean aroma that blended perfectly with the rich, smooth milk, making it go down so easily. I fully agree: this place does a great latte, haha.

The honey sweet potato cake was packed all the way through with sweet potato filling! It was not artificially too sweet; the sweet potato’s own natural, simple sweetness really came through~~ Haha Before I knew it, it had disappeared... (Where did my cake goㅠㅠㅠ)

The salted chocolate financier was crisp on the outside and chewy inside~~~ With every bite, rich butter fragrance and chocolate sweetness spread through my mouth, and it was pure happiness!!!!!!! Next time, I want to try the fig cream cheese and Valrhona chocolate mousse~~~~

It was a time to truly rest—taking a weekend drive, filling up on delicious coffee and sweet desserts, and looking at the blue sky and green birch trees~~~ Haha
