Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch location and seating

Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch is behind AW Convention, near Cultural Plaza in Gojan-dong, Ansan.

As a large bakery café, it was spacious and had such a clean atmosphere. The tables were wide and there were plenty of sofa seats, so it looked great for group gatherings or visiting with kids.

There are outlets too, so it is a good café for working on a laptop or studying! There is a wedding hall right in front, and it seemed like lots of wedding guests stop by after ceremonies on weekends.
Weekend afternoon bread display and bakery menu

The reason I came to Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch was the bread, of course~!! There are normally even more varieties, but when I arrived around 3 p.m. on a weekend afternoon, so many breads had already sold outㅠㅠ I will have to come a little earlier on weekends.

Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch is famous for its salt bread. Alongside the classic version, there were several kinds, including Wakppu salt bread and hazelnut salt bread.

There were cookies, egg tarts, garlic baguettes, and campagne loaves, as well as sweet cakes like cheesecake and brownies.

The sandwiches were thick too, and there were set menus that included coffee, so they would be nice for a quick lunch or dinner!

Overall, the bread was reasonably priced, so I found myself happily picking out a whole bunch. I was in the mood for sweet desserts, so I chose mango Wakppu salt bread, a brownie, and blueberry cream cheese bread!
What does mango Wakppu salt bread taste like?

The Wakppu salt bread was what I was most curious to try!! I had been dying to know about its texture and flavor, and I finally got to try it.

But first, the salt bread itself was incredible...! It was full of buttery aroma, moist and chewy inside, and the bottom was baked as if fried in butter, making it completely crisp!!

It was filled with yogurt cream and mango, then coated with white chocolate on the outside—pure bliss...! True to its Wakppu name, it crumbled with a fun, satisfying crunch when I bit into it, haha. The cream was light yogurt cream and not overly sweet, so it went really well with the nutty salt bread. But the salt bread itself was so delicious that I absolutely have to try the classic one next time!!
Blueberry cream cheese and brownie cake

As someone who loves blueberries, I could not pass up the blueberry cream cheese bread! What is there to say about tangy, sweet blueberry jam paired with rich, dense cream cheese... it is so good!

It was not excessively sweet, yet I could taste tanginess, sweetness, and nuttiness all at once, so I kept reaching for it. The bread itself was soft and chewy, and it was generously filled with blueberry jam and cream cheese—such a happy, mouth-filling flavor.
Brownie cake ₩7,500

I wanted something rich and sweetly chocolatey, so I chose the brownie cake, which was clearly loaded with chocolate just from looking at it. It was covered in rich chocolate, so the sweet chocolate flavor really came through. There were nuts inside too, giving it a nice crunchy texture, and their nutty flavor was perfect with the chocolate.

I love dense, fudgy brownies, and this was the kind that holds fork marks, so I loved it, haha. It was the perfect dessert when a sweet craving hits.
Kiwi juice and Americano pairing

You really have to try the fresh-fruit juices here!! I ordered kiwi juice, and they really blended fresh kiwi for it.

I could chew the fruit pulp, and the sweet-tart freshness of the kiwi was so delicious! They had watermelon juice too, so I need to try that next summer.

The Americano had a nicely balanced nuttiness and acidity, making it perfect with dessert.
