Jeju seaside café with a main building and annex: Robain Coffee

In short

Robain Coffee Jeju Jocheon Sinchon Branch is a large seaside café in Jocheon, Jeju. I explored its main building, annex, and yard while having chocolate latte, vanilla latte, and tea. Verdict: a lovely spot for lingering over Jeju’s ocean views.

On this Jeju trip, I visited Robain Coffee Jeju Jocheon Sinchon Branch (로바인커피 제주조천신촌점), a Jocheon café where it was lovely to relax while looking at the ocean.

The ocean is right in front of the café, so the moment I arrived, it really hit me that I was in Jeju.

There was also a stone-decorated feature by the entrance. It felt very Jeju, and it was a little unusual compared with the café exteriors you see all the time. I loved that there was so much to photograph!!

A spacious setting, from the main building to the yard

At first, the café did not look all that big, but once I went inside, I was surprised by how spacious it actually was.

Spacious interior of the café’s main building

There were sofa seats too, and the main building itself was laid out generously, so it looked like a comfortable place to sit and stay awhile.

Outside the main building, there is also a lush green yard, so on a nice day it would be great to look around the outdoor area too. This seems like just the café for visitors to Jeju with a baby or a dog!!

The annex, no-kids zone, and private room

And there was not only the main building but a separate annex as well, so there was more to explore than I expected.

Café spaces divided into the main building and annex

The annex interior was quite spacious too, so it looked fine even for a group visit, and there were lots of photo-worthy spots throughout.

The second floor and rooftop were run as no-kids zones, and there was a separate private room too. I heard the private room can be used free for one hour.

There was also a separate staircase in the main building leading up to the second floor, so I had a look around the upstairs space too.

It was honestly much bigger and prettier than I had first imagined, so it was fun just looking around.

Spacious and pretty café interior atmosphere

There were quite a lot of tables, and each seat had a slightly different mood, so you could choose the one you liked!!

Looking out at the Jeju sea from the window

Best of all, there were seats where you could see the ocean through the windows, making it a great place to spend time comfortably while watching the Jeju sea. Exactly my kind of café, since I love zoning out while watching the sea and water.

This Jocheon café in Jeju was also a nice place to relax and spend time chatting with friends.

Chocolate latte and hourglass tea

We ordered drinks, and they even packed us drip-coffee tea bags as a service. The owner is so thoughtful ㅠㅠ Every coffee was delicious on its own. You can buy them separately too!!

Complimentary drip-coffee tea bags and ordered drinks

We ordered a chocolate latte and a vanilla latte, and even the glasses the drinks came in were pretty. The chocolate latte had a rich layer of melted chocolate at the bottom, so you had to stir it well before drinking it, but it was sweet and delicious.

The vanilla latte was sweet, so it was totally my taste personally. It was my friend’s, but I kept stealing sips~

We also ordered a tea, and this was a little special too. They brought a small hourglass so you could steep it for five minutes. How long has it been since I last saw an hourglass..

If you order it iced, they also bring a separate cup of ice. You steep the tea and pour it into the ice cup! It tasted kind of healthy and tangy, so it felt a little different from an ordinary café drink.

Tea enjoyed with a cup of ice and mini cups

The hot tea came with little mini cups so you could pour and sip it a bit at a time, which was cute too. We enjoyed the drinks, looked around every corner of the café, and took lots of photos, but time flew because there was more to see than expected. I especially liked that the main building, annex, and yard were divided into separate spaces, so it did not feel like staying in just one spot and I could wander around here and there. If you are looking for a café to take a short break in Jeju, Robain Coffee Jeju Jocheon Sinchon Branch seems worth stopping by. Keep it in mind if you are looking for an ocean-view café around Jocheon, Jeju :)
