Gimhae restaurant for family dinner: pumpkin gnocchi, Anin Jeongmiso
In short
Anin Jeongmiso & Gaenari Jutaek is a Western-style restaurant on Bongridan-gil in Gimhae's Bonghwang-dong, set inside an old rice mill building that was kept as it was. On a family visit we ordered the half-and-half pizza (combination + quattro formaggi) at 31,900 won, the pumpkin basil cream gnocchi at 17,900 won and the truffle mushroom shrimp fritters at 13,000 won, and the gentle sweetness of the pumpkin gnocchi and the honey served with the quattro formaggi were the highlights. With a wide menu and free corkage, Anin Jeongmiso is an easy choice for a meal with a group.

While looking for a Western-style restaurant in Bonghwang-dong, Gimhae that would work well for a family outing, I visited Anin Jeongmiso & Gaenari Jutaek, a place known in the neighborhood for its unique style and relaxed atmosphere. With a name as distinctive as it looks, this spot serves everything from Western dishes to Sapporo soup curry.

Bonghwang-dong, known as Bongridan-gil, blends old alleyways with stylish spaces, making it a fun neighborhood to wander slowly. Right in the middle of it sits Anin Jeongmiso & Gaenari Jutaek, which still uses the building of a former rice mill — a place where you can really feel the vibe and atmosphere of Bonghwang-dong!

If you're driving, use 🅿️Gaya Parking Lot (9 Garak-ro 37beon-gil) for 1 hour free. From the restaurant's entrance, walk about 30 meters toward Gimhae's old downtown and you'll see the yellow paid parking sign on the right.

Inside the old rice mill: the look and feel of Anin Jeongmiso
The interior keeps the character of the old building, leaving traces of its rice mill days here and there — a distinctive concept that greets you right away.

Overall the space has a warm, cozy atmosphere, making it a great spot to drop by casually with family or friends for a meal.
There's also a terrace, so on days with lovely weather like these, sitting outside is definitely the way to go~
What is on the menu at Anin Jeongmiso, and how do you order?

Orders are placed via kiosk, and the full menu is displayed in the middle of the kiosk, so it's easy to browse slowly and choose.

There's pizza, pasta, side salads, plus chicken soup curry, curry rice, and pork cutlet, so there's something for every taste. And corkage is free!

Since we wanted to try a bit of everything, we ordered a variety of dishes: half-and-half pizza (combination pizza + quattro formaggi pizza) for ₩31,900, pumpkin basil cream gnocchi for ₩17,900, and truffle mushroom shrimp fritters for ₩13,000.
Truffle mushroom shrimp fritters, 13,000 won

The truffle mushroom shrimp fritters looked like something I'd never seen before, so I had to try them. Mushrooms and minced shrimp are fried together and served over a bisque sauce — and this was seriously delicious?!

The crispy exterior against the soft mushroom inside made for a fun textural contrast, and the rich aroma of truffle oil and mushroom was great. The bisque sauce underneath is the real kicker. A perfect side dish to share!

Pumpkin basil cream gnocchi, 17,900 won

One dish I was personally looking forward to was the pumpkin basil cream gnocchi. I really love gnocchi, and the fact that this pumpkin version was marked as limited quantity made it feel like something I had to try, haha.

Made with pumpkin, the gnocchi was bright yellow from the start — and it passed the test with its sweet, soft texture! The gentle sweetness of the pumpkin blended beautifully with the nutty basil cream; rather than a bold, aggressive flavor, it was full of soft, savory notes.

Half-and-half pizza (combination + quattro formaggi), 31,900 won

It felt like a shame to pick just one pizza, so we went with the half-and-half option, choosing Jeongmiso (combination) and quattro formaggi.

On one side, the combination pizza piled high with various toppings; on the other, the quattro formaggi, where you can really taste the depth of the cheese.

The stretchy melted cheese alone looked so tempting! The combination had so many toppings that each slice was packed with variety. The fresh tang of the tomato sauce blended nicely with the toppings and cheese for a familiar, comfortable flavor.

The quattro formaggi, on the other hand, was much richer and more savory! Mozzarella, cheddar, and blue cheese blended evenly for that deep, salty cheese flavor, and it comes with honey for dipping — adding sweetness makes it even more delicious. The two are clearly headed in different flavor directions, so I'd definitely recommend ordering the half-and-half~

With such a varied menu, this place is great for visiting in a group, and between the unique atmosphere and the comfortable space, it's worth a visit if you're looking for somewhere to eat on Bongridan-gil~
