What time to avoid the lunch wait, and the restaurant vibe

The interior is a nice, moderate size — not too big, not too small — set up with tables for 2 to 4 people. I arrived at 11am and got seated right away, but by around 11:30 it was already full with a waiting line.

The cubed radish kimchi and pickled onion side dishes are self-serve.
Juicy tteokgalbi

The juicy tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties) were seasoned just salty enough, packed with savory flavor. I ordered it as a side to eat with rice, but I nearly finished it all before the rice even arrived haha

The seasoned chives were seasoned so well, they paired perfectly with the tteokgalbi. It would also go really well as an anju (drinking snack) with a beer, I think.
Grilled pork bowl

Bibimbap and rice bowls come with bone soup on the side. Since I ordered the grilled pork bowl, mine came with bone soup. The soup is basically unseasoned as served, so you add salt and pepper to your own taste.

I'm a total pork addict haha~ The tender pork, nicely charred with that smoky grilled flavor, mixed together with rice drizzled in sesame oil — one bowl gone in no time! Great, quick, satisfying option for office workers grabbing lunch.
Spicy bone soup rice

The spicy, savory bone soup rice somehow felt like the perfect hangover cure too. Horangi Gotgan says they simmer their bone broth using only water and Korean beef bones — 100% hanwoo bone broth. That's what gives it such a deep flavor.

There was a generous amount of beef in it too, so it was really filling! Since it's the spicy version, it has a bit of a kick. The rice portion was huge as well, so I was pretty stuffed by the end.
