Gwanak burger restaurant for a weekend lunch cheeseburger: Daily Fix
In short
Daily Fix Seoul National University Entrance is a burger restaurant in Gwanak, Seoul, a short walk from Exit 2 of Seoul National University Entrance Station at the start of Sharosu-gil. On a busy weekend lunch, the writer and her husband ordered onion rings, a chicken burger, a cheeseburger and coleslaw from the tablet at their table, and the cheeseburger's deep, savory flavor was the standout while the chicken burger and coleslaw tasted too similar. At Daily Fix, the combination worth ordering is a beef patty burger with coleslaw on the side.

Hi everyone! Today I'm writing about a visit to Daily Fix, a solo-dining-friendly burger spot near Seoul National University Entrance, with my burger-loving husband.
I eat alone sometimes too, and there were already quite a few solo diners in the restaurant. There were seats set up for solo diners, so it felt comfortable.
Daily Fix is one of the places that got famous after Kang Min-kyung raved about it on YouTube. I was so happy when a branch opened near Seoul National University Entrance — I'd already ordered delivery from them a few times at home.

Where is Daily Fix in Gwanak, and is there parking?
- Address: 164 Gwanak-ro, 1st floor, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, South Korea
- Hours: Daily 10:30–24:00
- Parking: 1 hour free with a meal (Building A/B)
First off, it's really close to Seoul National University Entrance Station. Walk a bit up from Exit 2 and it's right around the entrance to Sharosu-gil. Super easy to find! Parking is also supported for an hour, so those with cars can visit too — nice, right?
Inside Daily Fix: glass walls and a weekend peak-time crowd

The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows, so it didn't feel stuffy. It felt a bit like I was traveling abroad. The interior is done up in a hip style!
Wood tables with yellow as an accent color — casual and great atmosphere, perfect for a date. I visited during weekend lunch peak time, and it still wasn't chaotic, even though there were so many delivery orders going out.
Daily Fix menu, tablet ordering and burger prices

You order using the tablet placed at each table. It was nice being able to look through the menu at your own pace. The staff were friendly too.
Personally, I'd say you should absolutely order a burger with a beef patty at Daily Fix. Since it's a handmade burger, the prices are a bit higher — around the low to mid ₩10,000s per burger!
Onion rings, chicken burger, cheeseburger and coleslaw together

The fries looked good too, but we wanted something crunchier, so we ordered onion rings instead! They were crispy and delicious. Next time I think I'll try the thick-cut fries — the table next to us was eating them and they looked pretty substantial.
Daily Fix seems to be great at frying, since every table had some kind of fried side, and the thick-cut fries seemed to be the signature over the thin ones. Apparently the texture is completely different from thin fries. I was even tempted to pack some fries to take home separately — everyone was eating them with such admiration.

Why the chicken burger tasted too much like the coleslaw
Finally the food arrived! I ordered the chicken burger since I love chicken. But it turned out to be a bit more of a rougher fried texture, plus chicken + bun + salad — that was basically it.
And since I'd also ordered coleslaw, the two felt like they overlapped. If you're getting the chicken burger, you probably don't need to order coleslaw too.

The Daily Fix cheeseburger tastes like a burger abroad
But the cheeseburger was so delicious. Next time I visit I'm definitely getting a beef patty!!! The cheeseburger's flavor was so deep!!! It tasted like something you'd get abroad! Next time I might try the double cheeseburger.

It's clearly tastier than a regular hamburger and the fullness factor is no joke. If you want something a little different from regular franchise burgers, I recommend Daily Fix without hesitation, the solo-dining-friendly burger spot near Seoul National University Entrance.

Even a delivery-only husband preferred Daily Fix in the restaurant
My burger-loving husband admitted it. He usually doesn't admit things easily, but he said that while it's already tasty for delivery, eating it in person with the good atmosphere made it taste even better and warmer.

Ordering tip: fewer sides, and coleslaw with a beef patty burger
If you order both a burger and sides, the fullness factor is no joke — now I understand why people leave food behind. Even if you're a little hungry when ordering, it fills you up more than expected, so it's fine to order in moderation.
If you're only ordering a burger with a beef patty, coleslaw would naturally pair well. You need something to refresh your palate every once in a while.

Even as I'm writing this post, my mouth is watering — this is a certified neighborhood burger favorite. I told my friends nearby and it turned out they all already knew about it. (Was I the only one who didn't?!)
Try a date at Daily Fix, the solo-dining-friendly burger spot near Seoul National University Entrance, where parking is available too. I think I'll be stopping by often on my way home from work.
