Doggy-paddle and dry room at Daegu dog café Daenghaus&Bingsuking

Today I'm posting about Daenghaus&Bingsuking, a dog-friendly café in Daegu with a dog swimming pool!!

It's a dog-friendly café, but it's also famous for its bingsu (shaved ice dessert)! When I visited, even the 1st floor seats for guests with dogs were completely full... crazy.

How much is the entry fee and pool dry room fee?

They're famous for bingsu but...! My dog is way too energetic to sit and eat bingsu peacefully, so I ordered a decaf americano and lemon sky tea, and since we were using the pool I also paid the entry fee for dogs under 6kg plus the pool dry room fee. If you pay for the dry room, they give you a towel at the counter!

Inside the 1st and 2nd floor café at Daenghaus&Bingsuking

Roughly speaking, the 1st floor of Daenghaus&Bingsuking has this vibe! There are lots of comfy seats and it was packed with customers, so I couldn't take many photos 🥹

You wear indoor slippers to enter the 2nd floor! You can have fun playing with your dog there!

There's a bathroom on the 2nd floor, and it's so clean... it makes me so happy... a clean bathroom makes me really, really happy.

And there's this cool spot to sit and rest (?) hahaha, the sofas are so stylish that it makes me want to make a space like this at home someday...? The 3rd floor is for the daycare kids!! The café space only goes up to the 2nd floor, so keep that in mind!

There's also an agility area on the 2nd floor, so small dogs can even do some basic training here! There are seats on the 2nd floor too, so it's a nice spot to relax while happily watching dogs play... you can also see the outdoor pool through the big windows.

My drinks arrive!! When you order, they bring it right to your table! We rested on the 2nd floor with our dog for a bit, then off to the pool!

What does the outdoor dog pool have?

Outside Daenghaus&Bingsuking there's a pretty large pool and dog tubes are provided too!

There's also this shallow mini pool-ish thing, and life vests for the pups who go swim in the pool! My dog played without a life vest 😂

Maybe because the water was cool, my dog sat, rested, played, and splashed around here doing it all hahahaha, so cute. There's a little water jet coming out of the tube and she fought with that jet hahahaha 😂

Maybe because it was cool, she wouldn't come out once she went in hahaha, ah, it was worth bringing her...💕

I splashed water at my dog while playing and she got completely soaked. But she seemed to like the coolness and didn't resist.

She'd also just plop down and rest like this hahahaha, I think it depends on the dog — another dog seemed to hate touching the water, and even though the owner only put its paws in, it jumped right out. My dog doesn't usually like water either, but since it's shallow here, she really had a blast...

Into the big pool: doggy-paddle success

Into the pool!!! I worked hard teaching her to swim at another dog café last time (lol). So my dog is good at doggy-paddling now. Good thing we practiced...!

Worried she might get tired, I let her rest on a tube for a bit, then kept playing in the water. It was her first time with a tube like this so she was a bit unfamiliar with it.

Washing and drying at the Daeng Spa dry room

Now I need to wash and dry my dog in the dry room using the towel I got!! At most dog cafés that only open pools in summer, there's no shower facility, which is a bummer, but Daenghaus&Bingsuking has shower facilities, which was so, so nice...💕 Plus there's air conditioning inside the dry room, so you can wash your dog while staying cool!

But since she swam today, this was her second bath in two days, so she was probably in a pretty bad mood about it ㅠ sorry, pup. The dog shampoo and conditioner here smell so good... the conditioner must be good too, because after drying her she smelled so fresh and clean that I kept burying my face in her fur to smell it...

Now drying her nice and fluffy. Shaking her off with a towel and wiping her belly makes her dry fast!! Make sure to turn off the air conditioner before you leave!

Who is Daenghaus&Bingsuking best for?

My dog playing with another dog on the 1st floor indoors hahaha, this Pomeranian was interested in my dog, hope they become friends~~~

Highly recommend Bingsuking to anyone looking for a Daegu café with a dog pool, or searching for a Daegu dog pool or a Daegu dog-friendly café!! Watching other people enjoy their bingsu, it really seems to be famous as a bingsu spot too! I'd also recommend it to anyone looking for a Daegu dessert café 💕 You can visit even without a dog, so it's great for anyone who just wants to watch dogs play 😆
