Legend pesto half-and-half at a Wirye pizza restaurant: Jackson Pizza

Hi, this is Sparrow. Today I went to a Wirye pizza favorite, Jackson Pizza.

Where is Jackson Pizza Wirye Branch, and where do you park?

Jackson Pizza, a well-known and already proven chain, is a Wirye pizza spot.

It's located with a great view right by Wirye Central Park. We often come here looking for good places to eat in Wirye, and it's easy to visit since parking is well set up.

The building has a huge parking lot and it's free for up to 3 hours, which makes it really convenient to drop by this Wirye pizza favorite.

What the dining room at Jackson Pizza Wirye Branch looks like

Jackson Pizza has a big space. It's divided into two areas — one is for takeout orders you can pack and go,

and the other is for dining in at the store. The red interior feels American (for reference, Sparrow has never actually been to America).

Every seat had soft, comfy chairs, which was great, and even though it was hot, humid, rainy weather, the AC was blasting so we could enjoy the meal comfortably.

Since it's such a vibey franchise you can enjoy in Wirye, lots of couples on pregnancy dates and families with young kids came in to eat. On the wall there's a pizza-size board so you can visualize the actual sizes.

The menu board and QR code ordering

There's a laminated menu at every seat, and you order by scanning the QR code. Even pickle or sauce refills can be requested through the QR code right from your seat, and staff bring them over directly.

At the table there were forks, knives, disposable gloves, hot sauce, crushed pepper, parmesan cheese powder, disposable wet wipes, and tissues — all sorts of things prepared. And the plates on top were flipped over so they wouldn't collect dust — a really thoughtful touch.

Our order: half Legend, half Zesty Jackson

We got a free order of fries from the receipt photo review, and it was great that it came out first. It really tasted just-fried — not salty, and without any extra seasoning on it, so it was genuinely delicious, original-style fries that I hadn't had in a while.

The most distinctive thing about Jackson Pizza is the pickles and the house-made sauce made right at the store. Both were available for one free refill.

Seen from the side, the puffed-up, delicious dough is a signature feature of this Wirye pizza favorite, Jackson Pizza. The crust is so good all the way to the end that you can dip it in sauce on its own.

This isn't the stretchy-cheese style of Korean pizza — it's a thin-crust Wirye pizza favorite where the toppings are generous and well balanced. The Zesty Jackson had fries on top.

Ate it plain, cut it up, put ranch sauce on it too.

My favorite menu item at this Wirye pizza favorite is a pizza called Legend, a style piled high with basil pesto and cream cheese.

I always eat it happily piled with plenty of the crushed pepper too. Unlike other hot sauces, the crushed pepper only offered at this Wirye pizza favorite genuinely goes well with any kind of pizza, so I always sprinkle it on happily.
