Euljiro gamjatang pub for four with broth refills: Eulji Baektan
In short
Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui (을지백탄뼈구이) is a large two-floor bone grill and gamjatang (pork bone stew) restaurant in Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul. Four friends stopped by for a second round and ordered the bone gamjatang (₩39,000) with ramen noodles and Hanwoo (Korean beef) 1++ chadol odeuregi (₩39,000). The gamjatang broth was refillable and the bones were meaty, so there was plenty for four. For a roomy round-two pub in Euljiro, the bone gamjatang at Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui is a good fit.

Why we picked Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui for round two in Euljiro
Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui (을지백탄뼈구이) is a big bone grill restaurant in Euljiro that runs up to the 2nd floor, so there's plenty of space and it's great for a group heading out for round two. They sell everything from bone grill to gamjatang to a wide range of side dishes.
It's right in front of Exit 11 of Euljiro 1-ga Station, and every time I walked past it was packed! I'd been curious, and this time, while looking for a round-two spot in Euljiro, I finally tried it!!
Honestly, a lot of places in Euljiro are small and crowded, so finding a second-round spot was hard. Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui is a large restaurant with two floors and lots of open seats, so it looked ideal for round two haha.

It's a bone grill specialist, but for people like us coming for round two, they also have gamjatang, which is perfect as a brothy dish!! They seem to serve lunch too, for the office workers nearby!! Highly recommended for lunch if you work around Euljiro~!

Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui menu and bone grill spice levels
The bone grill comes in small / medium / large sizes, and you can choose the spice level when you order!! Being able to order to your own taste was nice haha.
The bone gamjatang we ordered doesn't allow spice or size adjustments, but they keep refilling the broth, so it was exactly the right choice for round two!! And we added grilled chadol odeuregi too~! It's an anju (drinking snack) that doesn't fill you up too much, so I highly recommend it!!

The drinks list is really varied. Iljum Jinro, Saero Omija flavor, bokbunja too, a great lineup~!

Here's a guide to the bone grill spice levels!!
- Level 1: a little spicy
- Level 2: Shin Ramyun
- Level 3: Buldak noodles
- Level 4: very spicy
What four of us ordered, and the prices
- Bone gamjatang ₩39,000
- Extra ramen noodles ₩2,000
- Chadol odeuregi (Korean beef 1++) ₩39,000
There were four of us and the amount was still more than enough.

Korean beef chadol odeuregi: how is it as a round-two snack?
The bone gamjatang came out right after we ordered! The ramen noodles arrive pre-cooked. You just keep the gamjatang boiling at the table.

While the gamjatang boiled, we dug into the chadol odeuregi first. It's nutty and chewy, which is why I love it!! It doesn't fill you up and you just keep eating, an amazing combo. Personally I think a round-two pub is so much better when it has a dish like this.

Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui bone gamjatang: flavor and portion
The gamjatang here is generously topped with perilla leaves, and you just stir in the daedagi (seasoning paste) on top.

The bones are seriously huge!! See how much meat is on them?? I think that's why Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui is famous for bone dishes haha. The pile of perilla leaves smelled great too lol. Perilla leaves are a must with gamjatang~!

When should you add the ramen noodles?
The ramen noodles come pre-cooked, but we still added them to the broth and boiled them together.

Add the noodles once the pot has started boiling and eat them together! Since the noodles come slightly cooked, the broth didn't reduce too much, so it wasn't salty, just right.

Is the gamjatang broth spicy and salty?
The broth looks very intense in color, but when you taste it, it's not salty and has a moderate kick, just right as a drinking-snack broth.

Also, gamjatang usually has hardly any meat, just bones, but the gamjatang here has really generous meat, so there was lots to eat!! I'd recommend it for a first-round meal too.

Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui 2nd-floor group seating and restrooms
The restrooms are on the 2nd floor, and when I went up there were lots of group tables. If you reserve, this Euljiro restaurant looks great for groups too!!
I'd been so curious about this place, and it was delicious and the atmosphere was great too, so if you're looking for a pub in Euljiro, I highly recommend Eulji Baektan Ppyeogui.
