In short

Low Five Anguk is a pizza and pasta restaurant in a Bukchon alley near Anguk Station Exit 2 in Jongno, Seoul. Inside, it's way bigger than I expected. There are bar seats, tables for 2–4 and group seating. I'd heard there's a wait even on weekdays in Anguk, and they fill this huge space completely! Still, remote waitlisting on Catch Table means you can sign up in advance, which was so convenient.

How was the Alfredo cream pasta at Low Five Anguk?

Alfredo cream pasta topped with whole bacon

The Alfredo cream pasta at Low Five Anguk (₩18,000) came with thick bacon served whole, which had me happy before the first bite 🍝 The bacon is chunky and chewy with a strong smoky flavor, and it went perfectly with the thick, rich cream!!

The place is famous for pizza, so I came expecting pizza, and the pasta being this good was a real surprise. The cream is super thick and nutty, with a slight kick of spice so it never gets heavy, and I just wanted to keep eating. Total must-order Alfredo cream pasta‼️

Corn and hot chili potato half-and-half pizza

Half-and-half pizza: corn pizza and hot chili potato pizza

The half-and-half pizza is ₩26,000, and one thing I loved about Low Five Anguk is that you can get half-and-half at all‼️ We ordered the signature corn pizza and the hot chili potato pizza, half and half.

Low Five corn pizza topped with whole corn

Corn pizza

The corn pizza is topped with well-roasted whole corn kernels that pop in your mouth, and it was so good. The mayonnaise-based sauce and the soft cheese went perfectly with the corn. The dough is crisp outside and moist inside, amazing.. I ate it all the way down to the crust.

Hot chili potato pizza

The hot chili potato pizza has three kinds of potato, so you get all sorts of textures and flavors. Above all, you can really tell they didn't skimp on the sauce! A mildly spicy chili sauce spreads moistly underneath, and it paired so well with the fluffy potatoes. None of that dry, throat-clogging potato feeling at all.

How big is the classic Caesar salad?

The classic Caesar salad at Low Five Anguk (₩12,000) comes piled up like a mountain 🥗 The portion is seriously generous and the greens were fresh. Squeezing the lemon that came with it over the ranch dressing kept it from feeling heavy, and it was a perfect palate cleanser!

Finishing with a wine cheers!!! 🍷

Is Low Five Anguk a good spot for a wedding-invitation meetup?

At Low Five Anguk, everything from the pizza and pasta to the sides was satisfying. There's a reason for the wait. The corn pizza and cream pasta are total must-orders 🙌 My friend said all the food was delicious too, which made me proud.

Next time I'll definitely come back for the lasagna and kimchi fried rice 🤤 The staff were really kind and the relaxed mood was lovely, so I highly recommend it for a date or a meetup near Anguk Station or Bukchon 🍀
