It's the kind of addictive flavor that pops into your head from time to time once you've tried it, so for this dinner I went back to Bultina Kkomak Jjamppong Dongtan Namgwangjang Branch (불티나꼬막짬뽕 동탄남광장점) again.

What I especially like about this place is that everything is stir-fried fresh to order, so you really get that signature jjamppong smokiness along with fresh seafood flavor.

This visit again, the staff were friendly right from the start, which put me in a good mood, and the taste was exactly what I'd been expecting — I finished the whole bowl happily.

I ordered level 1 again this time. Level 1 doesn't mean there's no spice at all — rather than being intimidatingly spicy, it leaves a pleasant kick in your mouth, which made it easy to enjoy.

The broth is spicy and rich in flavor from the very first sip, with a subtle smokiness on top that really pulls you in.

Above all, the cockles in the jjamppong broth are really generous. Fishing out the plump cockle meat piece by piece, you naturally get that ocean flavor, and the chewy texture pairs really well with the spicy broth.

The noodles are thoroughly soaked in the rich jjamppong broth, so every slurp brings along that spicy, savory broth with it.

The clean flavor of the cockles combines with the smoky broth to create an even deeper taste, I think.

The place that naturally comes to mind whenever I'm craving cockle jjamppong! This visit to Bultina Kkomak Jjamppong Dongtan Namgwangjang Branch was satisfying once again.

With plenty of domestic cockles packed in, every bite gives you that plump texture and ocean umami, and thanks to the fresh wok-frying, that signature deep jjamppong smokiness was fully there too.

I ordered spice level 1, which was spicy enough while still letting me fully enjoy the broth's flavor without feeling overwhelmed. If you like spicy food, bumping it up a level might be worth trying.

Above all, the biggest satisfaction was that even after multiple visits, I still thought "yep, this is good" all over again.

The staff were friendly again, so I could enjoy dinner in a comfortable atmosphere, and with convenient parking too, this is a place worth remembering if you're looking for a good jjamppong spot near Namgwangjang in Dongtan.
