Gangnam pasta restaurant, late lunch with Mom after her treatment
In short
Brivit Gangnam Station (브리비트) is a pasta and gnocchi restaurant between Gangnam and Sinnonhyeon stations in Seoul. The writer came with her mom after a lift treatment and ordered the Beet Set for two: rabbit tomato pasta, spicy vongole oil pasta, spicy fried eggplant and 2 Coke Zeros. The relaxed, chatty atmosphere made it an easy late lunch with a parent.

Hiii! My mom had a thread lift appointment in Gangnam not long ago, so I waited until her treatment was done and started looking for lunch near Gangnam Station! Mom said she wanted pasta, so I debated which Gangnam Station pasta place to pick, and since the reviews were good and the vibe looked nice, we headed to Brivit Gangnam!!!
Brivit Gangnam location and opening hours
Brivit Gangnam is at 31 Gangnam-daero 102-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the first floor, between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station. It is open daily 11:30–21:15 (last order 20:30), and there is no parking.
You can set a meal here from Gangnam Station, and it's an easy walk from Sinnonhyeon Station too. There are cinemas and shopping nearby, so a meal followed by a café or a movie would work as a Gangnam date course or a blind-date spot.

The outside of the restaurant is full of plants, so leafy, so green

The gnocchi looks good too!

Ring the little bell and staff come over to take your order

They're running an event: write a Naver receipt review or a Google Maps review and you get one free ade (grapefruit or lemon).

The Beet Set for two we ordered
It was just the two of us, so we ordered the Beet Set for two. Here is what we picked:
- Hopping Rabbit Pasta (깡총깡총! 토끼파스타)
- Spicy Vongole Oil Pasta
- Spicy Fried Eggplant
- 2 Coke Zeros
The set includes two mains, a side and drinks, so it's great for sharing a bunch of dishes! Mom and I each chose one, a tomato pasta and an oil pasta, and ordered like pros haha

What are the atmosphere and seating like?
Along the outer windows of Brivit Gangnam there are open, airy terrace seats, and inside there's a space decorated with green plants.
With so many plants it felt less stuffy, and Brivit's signature green and wood tones made the whole place feel bright.
It was a little after 2pm and there were still lots of guests inside

The food and interior came out bright in photos too, so I was happy. It would suit dates and blind dates, of course, but also friend get-togethers or wedding-invitation meetups, anywhere the mood matters!
It's hard to talk when a place is too dark or the music is loud, but Brivit Gangnam Station was comfortable for chatting over a meal.

Grab some pickles from the self bar, chat while looking at the view outside, and the food arrives before you know it!
Spicy Fried Eggplant
The first dish out at Brivit Gangnam was the spicy fried eggplant, one of Brivit's signature sides!
Honestly I'm not a huge eggplant fan because of that mushy texture, but fried crispy like this it was much tastier.

And with the spicy sauce I just kept reaching for more,,

While we were munching on the eggplant, the pastas came out quickly too!
Hopping Rabbit Pasta (깡총깡총! 토끼파스타)

The name is already super cute, and the looks are even cuter

The plating is adorable and the colors are pretty, so it's great for photos, and it tastes good too

The sauce is a smooth, tasty tomato style, and it coats the noodles well, so it's nice and thick and rich.
Mom said the rabbit pasta was more her taste. I think it suits people who like tomato sauce or can't handle spicy food.
A thick, rich, umami-packed tomato pasta
The rabbit is mozzarella cheese, and eating it together with the pasta noodles was so good
Mom enjoying her food
Spicy Vongole Oil Pasta

I like oil pasta, but if it's too greasy or under-seasoned it can get a bit boring halfway through. This one was pleasantly spicy, with the savory depth of garlic and clams, so I kept eating.

It has clams, and the oil sauce soaks into the noodles well, so it was great to alternate with the Hopping Rabbit Pasta.

The noodles were cooked really evenly too. But the portion was bigger than I expected so we left some,, sob, what a waste

There was a ton of clam meat too. If you're looking for a Gangnam Station pasta place and like oil pasta, I recommend this one as well.

How was it with just Mom?
Mom came all the way to Seoul for her treatment, and I didn't want to just send her home afterward. We sat down together and ate slowly, talking about how the treatment went, how the wedding prep is going, and what's new in our lives. When you're planning a wedding, you talk to your mom often, but there aren't actually that many chances to sit down and have a proper meal together... so I think that's why this meal stuck with me even more.
The atmosphere is relaxed and the tables are good for conversation, so it wasn't awkward at all to bring a parent. Lots of people come here for dates and blind dates, but it was also a great Gangnam Station lunch spot for having lunch with Mom, or visiting with friends or coworkers.
The menu is varied, with pasta, gnocchi, steak, risotto and more, so everyone can pick what they like. I think it's also a good choice when you need somewhere with a bit of atmosphere that isn't too formal, like a friends' meetup or a wedding-invitation get-together. Next time I want to come for dinner with my husband and try the Brivit steak and the green onion cream corn gnocchi!
