Sillim pizza restaurant with self-serve leftover boxes: Pug Pizza

I hadn't been on a date with my pizza-loving mom around Sillim Station in a while, so we visited Pug Pizza House, a spot my friend had praised. I'll give you an honest review of the pet-friendly layout and the taste!

Where is Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch, and is there parking?

Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch is just about 150m straight from Exit 3 of Sillim Station, so it's very accessible. There's no parking support, so I'd recommend a nearby lot or coming on foot.

They're open daily from 11:00 to 24:00, so you have plenty of time and can visit comfortably.

How to get there, and what is each floor like?

The store spans three floors, each with a slightly different vibe, but the biggest draw is definitely the 3rd floor — the whole floor is set up so you can dine together with your pet.

It's set up like an open room, so dogs can move around relatively freely inside, and there's even a dog stroller kept beside the stairs — I was touched by how thoughtful that was, haha.

Going up to the 2nd floor, there were plenty of 4-person tables, so it seemed like more than enough space for a gathering with friends.

The 1st floor is mostly 2-person seating, perfect for those coming for a casual date, and all three floors share this hip, American-pub-style interior that really stood out.

What is on the self-bar at Pug Pizza House?

Each floor has a self-bar where you can grab the tableware and sauces you need — plates, forks, and even wet wipes were all thoroughly stocked, so I didn't need to call a staff member and could just help myself.

There are as many as 5 sauces, too — ranch, garlic, chipotle, truffle mayo and more — so it's fun to pick according to your taste!

What did we order? Hawaiian Muenster and Crazy Sweet Potato half-and-half

We chose the half-and-half pizza set that comes with pasta, and after some deliberation over the many pizza options, we picked Hawaiian Muenster and Crazy Sweet Potato. The basic set also came with pasta and a mini salad, which made it feel like pretty good value.

Look at the size of the pineapple on the Hawaiian pizza!! The pineapple chunks were big and whole, so it grabbed my attention visually right away.

The sweet potato pizza was just as impressive — the cube-shaped sweet potato toppings were packed edge to edge, and it made me think they really don't skimp on toppings here!

Sweetness spread through my mouth with every bite, haha. The crust edge was a bagel edge with an added whole-cheese milk crust, so it stayed chewy and savory all the way to the last bite.

The edge was packed with cheese inside, so it was delicious on its own, but you know it's even better dipped in the garlic sauce, right?

The truffle mushroom pasta that came with the set wasn't quite at the level of a specialty pasta place, but

it was loaded with mushroom toppings and had a thick, rich sauce, which made it a pretty good combo to pair with the pizza.

Snacking on the fresh salad in between let us finish everything without feeling too greasy — a clean ending all the way through.

The leftover pizza could be packed up ourselves using the takeout boxes at the self-bar, which was convenient — no pressure about wasting food.

Would I go back to Pug Pizza House?

This is a place you can comfortably dine at with your pet, so anyone looking for a pet-friendly restaurant, or anyone who loves generously topped American-style pizza, would probably enjoy it.

Personally, between the soft cheese, the atmosphere, the taste, the quiet vibe, and the self-bar, there was a lot I liked, so I'd definitely go back!
