Today, after work, my wife and I went to Pug Pizza House, a Sillim Station restaurant that's also dog-friendly and serves American-style pizza.

Where is Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch and how do you get there?

Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch is a 3-minute walk from Sillim Station, right on a main road, and the entire building is the restaurant. Anyone would recognize it as Pug Pizza House haha — since the whole building is the store, it wasn't hard to find at all.

Pug Pizza House, a well-known pizza spot near Sillim Station, is dog-friendly. The entire 3rd floor allows dogs, so you can enjoy it comfortably with your pup. Apparently the owner saw people eating pizza with their dogs while traveling in the US and wanted to recreate that experience in Korea — sounds like a great place to visit with your dog. (Just be sure to follow the posted guidelines!!)

Even on a weekday evening, there were a lot of customers. We had a reservation, so we headed straight up to the 2nd floor.

Takeout at Pug Pizza House: 3,000 won off, plus stackable review events

Takeout orders at Pug Pizza House Sillim Branch can be placed at the kiosk on the 1st floor. Takeout gets you ₩3,000 off, and the discount is automatically applied for Naver takeout orders. (Takeout orders are also eligible for the Naver review event.)

The 2nd floor was also packed with customers. Now I see why the whole building is a pizza restaurant.

The menu ranged from à la carte items to super-value set menus.

True to its reputation as a dog-friendly restaurant near Sillim Station, there was even a menu just for dogs haha. My dog would go crazy over this lol. I'll definitely have to bring her next time.

These days pizza and beer is more the trend than chicken and beer. There were so many kinds of beer too. If only I hadn't been off alcohol this month...

We ordered the half-and-half pizza & pasta set. We swapped in the fig pizza and corn pizza, and for a side we got the whole cheese milk bagel stick.

Four free sauces: how the self-serve bar works

At Pug Pizza House, everything except the food itself is self-serve. After ordering, we went to the self-serve bar to grab wet wipes, a knife, and a fork.

My favorite part was the sauce corner haha. At Pug Pizza House near Sillim Station, ranch, chipotle, mayo, and garlic dipping — 4 sauces — are all free!!!

Most pizza places charge for sauce, but at this Sillim Station pizza restaurant you can enjoy as much free sauce as you want — it felt so great.

There were cute dog stickers at the self-serve bar. We grabbed one too haha.

Since the sauces were free, we scooped up one of every kind haha. Gotta enjoy it to the fullest when it's free!!

The full set spread arrived shortly after.

Looking around at the other couples, they were all eating smaller pizzas... but since I tend to eat a lot haha, we ended up ordering pizza portions meant for 3-4 people. The pizzas were so loaded with toppings that I was a little worried whether we could finish them all haha.

Mushroom spicy cream cheese pasta at Pug Pizza House

I usually order tomato pasta, but today I was craving something creamy haha. So I tried the cream version, and it was a masterstroke haha. It was so thick and rich with cheese flavor that it practically melted in my mouth.

Whole cheese milk bagel stick

The bagel stick bread was incredibly soft, and it was packed with cheese inside for a really deep flavor haha. Absolutely the best side dish!!

We started with the fig arugula pizza.

Normally I'd just eat pizza with my hands, but since we were at an authentic American-style pizza place, we tried to be classy with a knife and fork... haha. Cutting off a slice and piling on bacon and fig jam made it insanely delicious!! It just melts in your mouth haha.

Being a fig pizza, it was loaded with fig jam, which was sweet and absolutely delicious haha.

The corn double bacon pizza had big chunks of corn piled on top, so every bite had corn kernels popping in my mouth — such a great, satisfying texture haha.

Since the sauce was free, we dipped the crust ends generously. Personally, the garlic dipping sauce was my favorite haha. Koreans really can't resist garlic... lol.

Packing up the leftover pizza yourself

At Pug Pizza House, takeout packing is also self-serve. There are boxes and bags available so you can pack up leftover pizza yourself. When our pizzas arrived so heavily topped, we wondered if we could finish it all — and sure enough, we had leftovers to pack up haha.

What is the 3rd-floor dog-friendly zone like?

After a delicious meal and before heading home, we checked out the 3rd floor dog-friendly zone since we want to come back with our dog next time — there was even a dog stroller at the entrance.

Since the entire 3rd floor is a dog-friendly zone, it looked really spacious and pleasant.

Each seating area had its own partition so pets can be let off leash. You could really feel how much thought and care the owner put into making the space pet-friendly, everywhere you looked.

Dog cushions, waste bags, and waste pads were also provided for free. It felt like you could come with just your pet and nothing else and still be totally set haha.

There's also an Instagram event just for dogs — you can get a free pet pizza, and two people are drawn each month to win a full set menu.

The restroom even had dental floss and disposable mouthwash. I don't think I've ever been to a pizza restaurant where the owner thought of this much detail haha.
