In short
One & Only Hair Gwacheon Government Complex Station is a hair salon in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi, about a four-minute walk from Government Complex Gwacheon Station. I received an all-over matte brown color without bleach to cover lingering red tones; the cool ash cast held well four days later without looking black.

I was getting a little tired of light brown and the monthly root touch-ups also felt burdensome, so I got an all-over matte brown color without bleach at One & Only Hair Gwacheon Government Complex Station (원앤온리헤어 과천청사역점). I wanted to cover the lingering red tones and neaten everything up in an overall darker shade.

Is the salon close to the station and easy to park at?
It was about a four-minute walk from Government Complex Gwacheon Station, and free parking was available. The parking area was spacious, so it was convenient to visit by car. The salon interior was clean overall.

What color did I choose for hair with lingering red tones?
I wanted a much darker shade than my existing brown, so I chose matte brown. The plan was to cover the existing color without bleach and tone it down for an autumn feel.

Red tones from a red-brown color I had done myself a year and a half earlier were still lingering. I had a lot of color history, fine hair, and existing damage, so this time I wanted to neaten the color cleanly. I chose the shade and brightness together with my designer while looking at the color chart.

How was the coloring process and how did my hair feel afterward?
They also provided a snack during the appointment. I appreciated this small service at the salon.

I liked the one-to-one designer system, where the same designer handled everything from start to finish rather than changing staff during the process.

Because my hair was already damaged, I was concerned about how it would feel after coloring. But in my experience, it was finished smoothly without feeling any more damaged. I was pleased that it felt soft after the color treatment.

What did the matte brown without bleach look like?
The finished color felt suitably cool without looking as though it had been covered in black. The ash cast made my face look brighter and cleaner.

Once it was neatened in a darker tone, my hair also looked less frizzy. I liked how the color we chose together from the chart turned out.

Did the color hold up after a few days?
Even four days after the coloring, when I wrote the original post, the ash cast had not faded quickly and the color held up well. People around me also said the dark hair, which they had not seen on me in a while, suited me well, so I wanted to keep a dark color for the time being.

What I liked most about this color was that it neatened up my light brown hair into a darker shade while retaining an ash cast. It suited my preference for a cool brown that does not look black.
