Why I recommend Bokkeriu as a date spot in Hanam
If you're looking for a great date restaurant in Hanam, I totally recommend Bokkeriu!! My husband and I went for a relaxed date after a long while, and I really loved everything from the atmosphere to the food. We went on a rainy day, and the lush green view outside, the interior and the taste of the food were all perfect.
Bokkeriu in Misa, Hanam also has plenty of parking, so we could park easily and walk right in. Details like this are exactly why it's perfect for a date.

What's the window atmosphere at Bokkeriu like on a rainy day?
The moment you step into Bokkeriu, a green view opens up beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, and honestly it's such a twist. We went on a rainy day and it was atmospheric, with a really great mood.
Sitting there taking in the view outside, I slipped into healing mode all by myself, and the date got even happier.
Bokkeriu menu and what we ordered
The Bokkeriu menu covers pizza, pasta, risotto and steak, so choosing is half the fun. The moment we opened the menu, the agonizing began! In the end we ordered lasagna, diavolo pizza and the arugula handmade jambon-beurre (ham and butter) pizza.
Bread and kelp butter
At Bokkeriu, bread and kelp butter are set out first. The bread was crispy outside and soft inside, and dabbing on the butter made me happy right from the start.
Bokkeriu lasagna: how big is the portion?
The first dish out was the lasagna, and it's quite big, hearty enough that lasagna alone would fill you up. With the charred marks on top, it looked like the real deal at a glance. Lasagna is a dish guys especially love on dates!
Layers of meat sauce and cheese fill your mouth, and it's just... wow, so tempting. The arugula adds a crunch here and there, so it never feels heavy and you keep going to the very end. A seriously charming lasagna.
Spicy, salty diavolo pizza
Bokkeriu's diavolo pizza has a strong presence too. The crust edges are baked crispy, so each bite is crunchy outside and chewy inside.
Every big bite pulls the cheese out in long strings, and with that spicy-salty flavor it's the kind of pizza that makes you think of a beer! Add a dab of ranch sauce and it gets even more varied, so the diavolo pizza was just so good.
The must-order at Bokkeriu: arugula handmade jambon-beurre pizza
The arugula handmade jambon-beurre pizza is the No. 1 pizza I'd tell you to order when you come to Bokkeriu, a Hanam date restaurant! It passes on looks alone.
Jamón is piled generously on the dough, with arugula and cherry tomatoes too, a fresh combination without any heaviness. When the salty jamón meets the dough, you just keep reaching for another slice.
I only realized how good jambon-beurre could be at Bokkeriu. Other tables were ordering it too, so a dish approved by people who clearly know their food has its reasons.
Bokkeriu desserts: Basque cheesecake and café latte
Bokkeriu, a Hanam date restaurant, nails dessert too. We ordered a Basque cheesecake and 2 café lattes. The rain kept falling outside, the mood was lovely, and we just didn't want to leave, so we ordered dessert, hehe.
The Basque cheesecake was soft to the point of bursting, right from the cut cross-section. Slightly burnt outside, moist and creamy inside, and with caramel sauce and crumble alongside, sweetness spreads with every bite.
Sipping a rich, nutty café latte while watching the rain out the window, isn't this exactly what healing is?
Would I go back to Bokkeriu for a date?
I found Bokkeriu while searching for a Hanam date spot, and my husband and I talked about all sorts of things looking at the green view, and every dish was delicious, so it was a time I really loved. I want to come again next time when the weather is nice. If you're stuck on date ideas, definitely save Bokkeriu!
