Why did I need a phone stand while working?

While working on a computer at the office, I often check work messages and email notifications on my phone. When I left it flat on my desk, the screen was hard to see and I sometimes missed notifications, and picking it up and putting it down every time was inconvenient too. I also needed somewhere to prop it up when looking at materials on my phone during video calls while working from home.

During lunch, my wrist would hurt if I kept holding my phone while watching videos or listening to work-related lectures. I liked that the 비티냐 stand lets me attach and remove my phone easily with MagSafe, and switch between landscape and portrait orientation.

What are the packaging and included items like?

The product arrived in a simple kraft box. The front of the box showed its main features alongside illustrations.

When I opened the box, the stand was wrapped in a thin protective sheet.

My set included the black stand, two metal rings, and a hex wrench. The rings came in silver and blue, so I attached one each to my work phone and personal phone. This is how you can use it with a smartphone or case that does not have MagSafe functionality, too.

Can you change the angle for video calls and watching videos?

The product information states that it has 360-degree rotation, angle adjustment at two joints, and a foldable structure for storage. Its maximum load is listed as 350 g, so the weight of the phone case is something to consider along with the phone itself.

I used it in portrait orientation for video calls and rotated it to landscape for videos. Being able to adjust the angle at both joints made it easy to find a viewing angle for each situation.

How do you adjust it to support a phone securely?

There was almost no assembly needed, and I could use it straight out of the box. I did need to adjust the joint tension, though. If it is too loose, the phone’s weight can make it droop; if it is too tight, changing the angle becomes difficult.

I used the included hex wrench to make a few adjustments and find the right tension, and I have used it that way ever since. In my use, the weighty metal base supported it steadily, and the magnet in the round top pad held my phone securely. The part that touches the phone is made of soft silicone.

How were the design and finish on my desk?

The black unit I chose has a fully matte finish. Fingerprints did not show up easily during use, and its simple form made it easy enough to keep on my desk.

It suited the way I use my phone, checking it often during work and watching videos too. Switching between landscape and portrait and adjusting the angle were easy, and the base was stable. I did need to adjust the joint tension to suit my phone’s weight at first.
