I had such good memories from last year that I rebooked without any hesitation this year. My now-8-year-old son remembered it too, and was so excited he said "I want to see it again!" before I even brought it up.

Even on his second time watching, he wasn't bored at all — he stayed focused, laughing and clapping the whole way through, and I thought, we really made the right call coming.

The Geomdan Welfare Center theater lets you pick your own seat based on arrival order. For a participatory kids' show like this, seating really matters, right?

So instead of cutting it close, we hurried and arrived a bit earlier! Thanks to that, we snagged a great front seat right up close to the stage.

For kids who are still short and might have their view blocked, a height booster cushion is essential, right? We grabbed one at the entrance and set it right on my son's seat.

And there he was! Magician JT finally made his dramatic entrance, we'd been waiting for it. The moment he appeared, he pulled off a flashy trick that instantly grabbed every kid's attention.

Even I, an adult, got swept up in the magic instantly. And Toto, the cute rabbit puppet friend we'd met last year, was still right there!

"Toto, it's been a year — you're still so cute!" both my son and I silently cheered inside.

During the show, there's a corner where Toto personally hands out gifts to kids who respond and participate enthusiastically. This is basically the peak excitement moment for kids, right? My son threw his hand up eagerly and cheered along, and he proudly walked away with a gift, shoulders squared.

From levitation on: the tricks that got the biggest laughs

Watching these strange science experiments unfold like magic on the big stage, I could practically see my son's imagination expanding. In particular, there was a levitation trick that surprised even me, an adult — and it was done as an on-the-spot audience participation bit!

Thanks to this participatory format, I don't think my son took his eyes off the stage for a single moment. Magician JT's hosting skills were pure delight.

He asked friendly questions right at the kids' eye level, sprinkled in jokes that had everyone bursting into laughter, and kept the whole show's energy high.

If this had been a science show that just droned on with explanations, my 8-year-old would have gotten bored quickly — but the perfect blend of magic and science kept the laughter going right to the end.

Honestly, I had a small worry: "We already saw this last year — will it still be fun this time?" But that worry turned out to be unnecessary!

Some parts of the show had been refreshed, and combined with his memories from last time plus the joy of actively participating, my son's eyes sparkled like he was seeing it for the very first time.

Even on the way home after the show ended, my son locked pinkies with me and promised, "Dad, if we come again next year, let's watch it again!"

It was a perfect show that delivered full satisfaction both years — last year and again this year.
