Samseong Station burger lunch with cheese bacon fries: Bas Burger

I visited Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch, a spot known as a Samseong Station burger restaurant. It's a spacious place with terrace seating, and these days it's a hot handmade burger spot for giving out free potato chips and sauces too.

I went to an e-commerce fair in Daechi and stopped by Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch for a late lunch on my way home. I first tried Bas Burger at the Jamwon branch and fell completely in love, so this time I dropped by the Samseong Station location since it was nearby and I wanted a burger for lunch.

Inside Bas Burger: terrace seats and a wide-open dining hall

Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch has a really spacious interior, so it's great for eating solo and also good as a meeting spot. There's terrace seating by the window too, which seems perfect for sitting outside in cool weather like these days. If you're working near Samseong Station and need lunch, this place fits right in.

Let me start with the menu items most people will want to know about when looking for a Samseong Station burger lunch. When eating in the store, you order through the tablet at each table. Last time I had the Bas Burger and Hawaiian Burger, and this time I ordered the Double Bas Burger Set and the Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger. And you can't skip the Mozza Cheese Bar once you're at Bas Burger!

With the Double Bas Burger, one bite fills your mouth completely — two patties, but it's not greasy at all, and the tomato and vegetables blend in to make it clean and delicious, feeling like the definitive Bas Burger!

How does the Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger taste?

The Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger has a thick whole fried shrimp inside, and the wasabi mayo sauce is subtly sharp but mild — I'd recommend it to anyone who likes shrimp burgers. The look of it is also generous and appealing.

Swapping the set side for cheese bacon fries

I swapped the set's side for cheese bacon fries, and with the cheese and bacon piled on savory and salty, it was way better than plain fries!

Unlimited potato chip refills and 7 free sauces

Also, when you dine in at Bas Burger, they give you unlimited potato chip refills and you can get all the sauce flavors free too. (Ketchup, mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, honey mustard, Bas Burger house sauce, ranch sauce, pollock roe mayo.) I only used the mayonnaise sauce this time, but now I'm regretting not putting the Bas Burger sauce on the Bas Burger and the pollock roe mayo on the Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger ㅠㅠ Make sure you all try drizzling different sauces on yours.

How much is lunch at Bas Burger? 30,500 won in total

The Double Bas Burger Set was ₩16,300 (including the cheese bacon fries swap), the Wasabi Mayo Shrimp Burger was ₩10,900, and the Mozza Cheese Bar was ₩3,300, for a total of ₩30,500. The basic Bas Burger is ₩8,200, Bas Burger sets start from ₩12,100, and the Hawaiian Burger is ₩10,200. You can pay with mobile easy pay or Zero Pay too.

Reservations, waiting time and amenities at Bas Burger

You can make a phone reservation or just walk in : ) Takeout and delivery are both available, and it was convenient that there are separate men's and women's restrooms inside. They also said pets are welcome.

Final verdict: next time, try every sauce

This time I didn't drizzle all the sauces and conscientiously just used mayonnaise, but I should have added the Bas Burger sauce too. I forgot and didn't add it, which was a bit of a shame, so next time I'll definitely drizzle it on ㅠㅠ The patties were generously packed in, so it really felt like classic Bas Burger, and the store is spacious and comfortable so it's easy whether you go alone or with others. I think I'll come back again whenever I'm craving a Samseong Station burger lunch.
