My husband and I decided to have a relaxed meal together after our daughter's riding lesson. Wondering where to go, we headed to Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch, famous as a lunch spot near Samseong Station.

- Street public parking available right in front of the restaurant

It was a beautiful weekend afternoon, and seeing the terrace seats at Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch all filled up put me in a good mood.

The restaurant is big and spacious, so it was great for spending time there. The interior itself also had a slightly hip vibe.

Parking at Bas Burger Samseong Station: the street lot is free on weekends
What was great was that there's a street public parking lot running right along the front of Bas Burger, so we waited briefly for a spot and parked there. I didn't know this, but the street public parking lot is free on weekends! We parked comfortably without paying a cent (it's normally ₩8,000/hour).
*If there's no space here, try Tancheon public parking lot instead. It's a cheap ₩1,200/hour and easy to park in.
What is the terrace at Bas Burger Samseong Station like?

This is the interior of Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch, a great lunch spot near Samseong Station. The place is spacious with plenty of seats, and the terrace seats have awnings installed so you can eat your burger without getting blinded by the sun.
Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch seemed like a place where you could eat comfortably even with a group.

Bas Burger menu and how to order
This is the menu at Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch, a great lunch spot near Samseong Station. There were a lot of delicious-looking items, and even though it's right in the middle of Gangnam, the value for money was still pretty good.

You can order directly with staff, but there's also a kiosk at the entrance for anyone getting takeout, and for those dining in, you can order via the tablet at each table.

Unlimited free James Gam potato chips with dine-in
Another huge perk of Bas Burger Samseong is the unlimited free James Gam (potato chips). Dine-in customers can just help themselves. The freshly fried chips weren't soggy at all — they were delicious.

I ordered with a staff member and got a buzzer. Maybe 5 to 10 minutes after ordering, our food was ready.

Such a convenient system, being able to order via tablet too. Bas Burger also sells chicken items, not just burgers.
I took a photo so you could see the overall menu. Since it's fairly spacious and has terrace seats, it seemed like a great place to bring kids along too.

And here's the famous James Gam. Doesn't it look amazing? Personally, I liked this even more than the french fries.

How do The Bas Burger set and the Bas Burger Single set taste?
Finally, the food arrived. We ordered The Bas Burger set and the Bas Burger Single set.

Freshly fried french fries.

And the Bas Burger and The Bas Burger (signature burger), both packed with fresh vegetables.

And a soda with one free refill. Looks so good, right? It was interesting that the burger had romaine (I think?) instead of regular lettuce. But what I liked most was that the burger bun was genuinely very soft. It was a really high-quality, delicious, soft bun that made the burger much easier to eat.

Five sauces came alongside the meal too. Honestly I wasn't quite sure how you're supposed to eat them, so I drizzled the Bas Burger sauce a bit more onto the burger and dipped the rest with the french fries, haha.
Beyond the food itself, it was the atmosphere and interior design that made me want to come back to Bas Burger Samseong Station Branch, a great lunch spot near Samseong Station. I'm planning to visit again for lunch soon.
