In short
HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm is a Korean cleansing balm I used morning and night on combination skin with blackheads and sebum around my nose. It felt less tight after cleansing and left my nose area and skin texture looking cleaner, though results can vary by skin condition. Verdict: a gentle-feeling option for my sebum and blackhead routine.

What concerns did I have with combination skin?

I have fairly large pores, so during hot weather I was especially concerned about sebum and blackheads and whiteheads around my nose. I had tried nose packs and various cleansing products too, but some had felt irritating, which led me to look for a cleansing balm I could use gently.

Was the texture and packaging easy to use?

The cleansing balm spread smoothly over my skin. It came with a spoon, and after using it, I could clip the spoon into the lid, which made for neat storage.

How did my skin feel after morning and night use?

Using it morning and night, it felt less irritating than oil-based types, and my skin did not feel severely tight after washing. The blackheads around my nose seemed less noticeable than before, and my skin texture felt smoother too. I was also personally pleased that it seemed as though I had fewer breakouts.

How was it for skin concerned about blackheads and sebum?

For me, this was a product that felt less burdensome during the step of washing away sebum and impurities. However, skin condition and reactions can differ from person to person, so on days when your skin is sensitive to irritation, it would be best to keep an eye on its condition while using it.
