Cleansing balm for dehydrated oily skin: HEEDA Jirisan Charcoal

What cleansing balm did I try for dehydrated oily skin?

While looking for at-home skincare products two months before my wedding, I tried HEEDA Jirisan Moist Charcoal Cleansing Balm. I have dehydrated oily skin that is prone to acne, and I was concerned about blackheads and whiteheads around my nose as well as dryness around my mouth and cheeks.

I usually used cleansing lotion, but I felt that the blackheads around my nose did not come off well. I bought this product after seeing its description saying that it could help with pore care.

What were the container and texture like?

It was 100ml, and the container listed the full ingredients and directions in Korean and English. The expiry date shown on the one I bought was November 15, 2026.

Inside the lid, there was a spatula fixed into a groove. There was also a plastic seal when I first opened it, and the balm felt like a soft silk balm.

How did it feel on the skin?

It melted softly on contact with my skin temperature and turned into an oil. It felt comfortable as I applied it.

How did it remove makeup?

I did a simple test with cushion foundation, eyebrow product, eyeliner, and lip products. I scooped out one spoonful of cleansing balm, applied it, gently massaged it in, rinsed it with water, and then lightly rinsed again with cleansing foam.

The makeup products I tested came off, and I felt I could use it without a separate eye makeup remover. The arm where I used the cleansing balm felt softer than the other one.
