Busan sushi restaurant for chewy sashimi: Moshi Moshi PNU Branch
In short
Moshi Moshi PNU Branch is a Japanese restaurant in Geumjeong, Busan, where sushi, sashimi, and udon come together on one platter. I ordered the upgraded sashimi platter with eel, tuna, and abalone sushi, springy sashimi, hot udon, and tempura. Verdict: Moshi Moshi PNU Branch is my pick for a generous sushi-and-sashimi meal.

My favorite sushi spot by the Pusan National University main gate
I visited Moshi Moshi PNU Branch, my favorite sushi spot right in front of the Pusan National University main gate. Moshi Moshi is great for a quick meal, but everything comes out so neatly as a full spread that I visit from time to time. Now that the weather is getting cooler, I want sushi even moreㅠㅠ When am I ever going to start dieting... Why are there so many delicious things in this world;;

Lunch reservations and seating for groups
Moshi Moshi at Pusan National University has a spacious dining room. Reservations are available too^^ You can make one through Naver Booking or by phone. It gets busy at lunchtime, so I recommend reserving before you visit haha.

There are seats and tables with plenty of room even for a group visit. It would be a good place for a group dinner too!

Ordering the upgraded sashimi platter
There is a kiosk at every table. Of course, I ordered my favorite, the sashimi platter. With it, you can have sushi, sashimi, and udon together. It even comes with tempura haha. A sashimi platter that is both tidy and generous ★ You can order individual sushi items too!! I was tempted to add individual sushi because there were so many kinds I wanted, but the sashimi platter was such a big portion that I probably would not have finished it if I had ordered more!!

I was feeling a bit down today and came out thinking I needed something delicious, so I ordered the upgraded option. When you order the better option, the sushi is switched to slightly higher-quality pieces. You get eel too~ If you love eel, order the upgraded option!!

After just a short wait, the owner brought over our order. The presentation is amazing, right? ♥ I absolutely recommend the sashimi platter at Moshi Moshi. The owner said they would bring more vegetables if we asked haha. The soft tofu and salad that come as standard at Moshi Moshi are sooo good. The sauce is seriously delicious haha.

Salmon with soft tofu sauce
The soft tofu that comes with the meal is seriously so good!! Dip the salmon in the soft tofu sauce and it is pure bliss~~♥ The sauce with the thick salmon is tastier than at most sushi restaurants.

Upgraded sushi with eel, tuna, and abalone
Look at the eel, tuna, and abalone that came with the upgraded sushi. The eel is thick, the soy-marinated shrimp is thick too, and when you put it in your mouth, that substantial bite is so tasty!! It is delicious even if you do not specifically order the upgraded option!! I love egg sushi too, so it was a shame there was no egg sushi haha.

Chewy sashimi piled with wasabi
The sashimi is really chewy. That springy texture with a little wasabi on top is totally my style. The wasabi was not as strong as I expected, so it is delicious if you pile it on.

Abalone sushi cannot possibly be bad! It is lightly seasoned and has a chewy texture 💗

I love that ordering the sashimi platter lets you eat both. And the quality is not bad at all, so I want to recommend it. The tuna, salmon, and abalone~ are all fresh.

Delicious thing + delicious thing = piggy haha

Hot udon with shrimp, zucchini, and eggplant tempura
You need something hot and brothy when eating sashimi, and this comes with piping-hot udon. The udon noodles are chewy, and Moshi Moshi adds lots of tempura flakes, fried tofu, and shrimp on top too~ So good!!

Tempura comes with it too: shrimp, zucchini, and eggplant. The shrimp is delicious without even saying, and the zucchini is seriously good too. The zucchini is slightly sweet, so it is great dipped lightly in soy sauce!
If you want a neat sushi platter, I recommend Moshi Moshi at Pusan National University. There are set menus and individual sushi orders too, so I recommend Moshi Moshi if you want a varied, tidy Japanese meal!!
