Spicy level 1 agujjim with udon noodles at Jjimgoeul, Jinju
Jjimgoeul Main Branch is an agujjim (braised monkfish) restaurant in downtown Jinju, close to Jinjuseong Fortress and the Rodeo Street. On an evening out for the Jinju Heritage Night Walk, the writer ordered the small boneless agujjim with added udon noodles and a bowl of rice at spice level 1, and the crisp bean sprouts and generous sauce meant the rice bowl was scraped clean. A solid dinner pick in downtown Jinju whenever agujjim cravings hit.
