VOG HAIR Changwon City Seven Branch (보그헤어 창원시티세븐점) is a hair salon on the 3rd floor of City Seven in Changwon. It's open daily 10:00–21:00 and closed every Monday. Parking is available, and pets are welcome too, I hear.

My hair was so long and so curly that I just couldn't handle it anymore, so I went in to get it under control. I'd been reading reviews of Stylist K at VOG HAIR Changwon City Seven Branch and loved her high-layered cut-perm style so much that I booked right away 🤍

VOG HAIR is on the 3rd floor of City Seven, and I think the closest place to park is the underground car park at Lotte Mart City Seven!

Is the salon interior and waiting area spacious?

At VOG HAIR Changwon City Seven Branch, the treatment area is separate from the counter and waiting area, and the waiting area is roomy with lots of chairs. This is a photo of the entrance :) It looked like a comfortable place to wait. I arrived right on my appointment time and could start straight away without waiting.

This is the treatment area :) When I first walked in, my reaction was "Wow... it's huge..." The whole place felt airy, and there were so many seats that I didn't have to sit squeezed up against the customer next to me, which I liked.

There were even two shampoo areas! When you sit in the shampoo chair they put a blanket over you too, so cozy, haha.

What does the high-layered repair C-curl perm include, and how long does it take?

Top Stylist K's high-layered repair C-curl perm at VOG HAIR was a set made up of magic straightening + setting C-curl perm + root perm + Nano repair clinic. It took roughly 3 hours 30 minutes, and I'll walk you through it with photos from the process 💗

Settling on the final style with a consultation questionnaire

First, in the waiting area, you fill out a basic questionnaire about the style you want, then talk it over together and decide on the final style! I didn't want the root perm, so I dropped it and only did the cut, magic, C-curl perm and repair clinic.

Scalp check before the treatment

Before the real treatment starts, they do a scalp check first, haha. They look at your scalp and explain what condition it's in. It was my first time looking at my scalp zoomed in together like this, so I felt a bit embarrassed, lol.

The four steps of the Nano clinic

Next, they rinse your hair lightly and go straight into the Nano clinic! The Nano clinic is a recent product, and apparently the newer the product, the better the effect, haha. There were about four steps; she explained the effects in detail, then thoughtfully told me that whenever she applied something in between, I should just assume it was all part of the clinic.

This is the drink I got while waiting after the clinic was applied. I liked that there were lots of drinks to choose from, and the iced Americano was really cold and tasty.

Face-shape cut, magic straightening and setting perm

After the clinic, the cut begins in earnest, then the magic straightening and setting perm. During the cut too, she added layers to suit my face shape and adjusted the length.

What I liked was that the stylist I booked did everything herself, from the cut to the magic and the setting perm. Small things like flat-ironing the hair or applying the clinic product in between were handled by another stylist to speed things up, but apart from that, it was all done by the stylist I'd booked. On top of that, she was super kind… 🤍

Finishing with an aroma scalp massage

When everything is done, right before drying your hair, they give you a short aroma scalp massage. You pick the scent you want, and they massage from your shoulders to your neck and scalp, and it feels pretty great, haha.

How did the high-layered result turn out with the length kept?

The result of the VOG HAIR high-layered magic C-curl perm was a style that kept almost all of my below-chest length while lots of layers filled in the side volume. My hair is done! :) I loved it so much. I really hate it when my hair gets shorter 😭
