If you’re picking pizza for a friends’ meetup in Jeonpo

There are quite a few pizza places in Jeonpo, but I’d like to introduce Freewill Pizza, the place my friends have complimented every time I’ve taken them there 🍕 I received a partial discount for this visit, but it’s somewhere I actually went pretty often when I lived around Jeonpo! Those who know, know—it’s already a well-known pizza spot in Jeonpo and Seomyeon ꈍ◡ꈍ

It’s about a 10-minute walk from Exit 8 of Jeonpo Station, and takeout and delivery are available too. You can also use Catchtable.

How long was the wait on a Wednesday evening?

Just after 6 on a weekday Wednesday, there were fewer than two teams ahead, so I thought, Oh, no wait? But by around 6:30 while we were on our way, we were fourth in line, and there kept being a wait until after 7! Still, the line moved fairly quickly, so we waited less than about 20 minutes. I think Friday evenings had a bit more of a wait, if I remember right haha. I’ve been coming for years, and it’s impressive that there’s consistently a wait every time,, Catchtable online-app reservations are available for parties of two or more.

The Hot Chicken Shrimp set three friends ordered

We were going to order a half-and-half pizza, but one friend couldn’t eat quite a few of the options, so the three of us ordered a large Hot Chicken Shrimp pizza with a side of Buffalo wings and two drinks! It was nice that you can order a whole pizza as a set even if it isn’t half-and-half. The signature is Egg Potato! Also, the female staff member was so kind that she really stayed in my memory. Even though it was busy, she brought things out quickly and was so friendly,, 💗

A terrace table on a cool day

We sat at an outdoor table, and lately it’s been just cool enough with a breeze, which was so nice. There’s something romantic about eating under a pink sky,, 🕊️ It’s exactly the right season for eating on the terrace! They asked whether the terrace was okay, and we said yes, so I think that may be why we got seated a little sooner than the other teams waiting lol

Crisp-baked Buffalo wings

For our side, Buffalo wings! A foreign friend came with us too and said the Buffalo wings were delicious lol. I like them when they’re baked a little crisp, so I enjoyed them. We were going to order the cabbage salad this time but chose the Buffalo wings instead; next time I want to get the garlic fries too.. (a total fries addict)

Toppings and portion size of the Hot Chicken Shrimp large

The Hot Chicken Shrimp in a large size! It had loads of shrimp and chicken, with a slightly sweet and spicy sauce. A large leaves just a little over when three women share it?

Freewill really piles on the toppings..! It’s American-style pizza, but I wonder if it’s even more popular because it adds a little something for Korean tastes. I also saw that they make their aged-dough dough every day; it isn’t a completely open kitchen, but I could see them making it while paying, haha. It somehow felt even more trustworthy? Personally, I think the cheese was delicious 🤤 The crust was chewy and fluffy, and very filling..!

I also recommend an Egg Potato half-and-half pizza

This is the cabbage salad and the Egg Potato/bulgogi half-and-half regular pizza we ordered last time. The cabbage salad is tasty too, so I recommend it as a side haha. I like bulgogi pizza, so I remember enjoying it a lot lol, and I recommend it. Egg Potato is Freewill’s signature, so if it’s your first visit, I recommend ordering it half-and-half like this. Or Egg Potato/Freewill..! They also had trendy chili cheese sticks among the sides these days. I haven’t tried them yet, so I should order them next time haha

A Jeonpo pizza spot with a vintage atmosphere

We sat outside, so I don’t have many interior photos, but the vintage decor was memorable! There are cute goods too, and I’ve already returned many times. Every friend I’ve brought has been satisfied, so I think it’s just right for a casual friends’ meetup in Jeonpo. Highly, highly recommended.
