Solo dinner at a Jamsil Station burger restaurant: Daily Fix Jangmi

Today country-mouse me went up to the big city of Seoul to play city-mouse for a day, haha ｡·͜·｡. When you visit Seoul, you simply can't skip the good food, right?! So after careful deliberation, where did I end up? For a burger recommended by Kang Min-kyung of Davichi, at this Jamsil Station burger spot.

Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga is located near Jamsil Station and the Songpa-gu office, inside Jangmi Sangga's Building B, basement level, unit B2-13! It's right next to Popeye Bunsik and Risar Coffee~ It's the hippest spot in the whole complex so it really catches your eye 😎 For parking, you can use the mall's own parking lot 😘

Apparently Jangmi Sangga has been standing in Jamsil for a suuuuper long time⁉️ Nearly 40 years of history!! You could really feel the old-school atmosphere of the mall. Maybe that's why Daily Fix's own space has such a strong retro vibe too! I looked around on the way in, haha 😁😁

The triple cheese burger and the 4,900 won set upgrade

Honestly, the burger Kang Min-kyung recommended was the bacon cheeseburger, but since I came up to Seoul before dawn and had a tight schedule ㅜㅜ, this was my first meal of the day at 5pm, and out of pure greed I ordered the triple cheese burger instead lol. Three whole Korean beef patties 👌🏻!!

And for just ₩4,900 more, you get fries and cola as a set! (I ordered zero-sugar cola, being sensible about it 😎😎)

Did they somehow notice I was worn out from the heat...? The cola came out first, and here's the thing about Daily Fix — the cola is refillable ♡ Honestly I like cola but can't drink much of it, yet that day I downed it in one go and got a refill too.

Onion rings on the side: crisp outside, soft inside

Ta-da~ the onion rings I ordered as a side arrived~ Just looking at them, the crunch factor was insane.

A...S...M...R... Can you hear that crunch crunch sound? ㅠㅠ Totally delicious 😋 The absolute peak of crispy-outside, tender-inside!! And the onion inside still had some bite to it, so it was crazy-good-super-good-mega-good!!!! The hot ketchup sauce that came with it was a bit much for spice-shy me, so I just dipped in regular ketchup instead 😉

How the three Korean beef patties in the triple cheese burger taste

Ta-da!!!!!!! Here it is, the moment I've been waiting for — the triple cheese burger with three 100% Korean beef patties!! It arrived with coleslaw and everything.

Ahh lolololol you're looking at someone who got so overwhelmed with excitement at coming to Seoul that she made an absolutely wild ordering decision 😰 The visual is insane~~ Shall we eat?!!

Ahh~ Daily Fix's patties are hand-made fresh every morning from 100% Korean beef, so the rich juiciness and flavor just burst out 🥴 The chef here apparently used to work at a Michelin restaurant in New York. That American-style flavor and technique came through beautifully — this wasn't just fast food, it was a proper dish.

The burger was seriously thick, so I cut it and ate it with disposable gloves on, haha (gloves are a must for hand-made burgers... ☆). Right when things started to feel a bit rich~

The coleslaw came in for the rescue too ♡ I'd say it's kind of similar to the coleslaw at KFC?! Very much my style 🤌🤌 It went well with everything — the burger, the fries, the onion rings 😋 If you want free coleslaw or onion rings, listen up.
