Cheonan baked-goods café: mocha almond cream latte, 5 sweets, Brewers

I was out in Cheonan's Sinbu-dong on a weekend, and I heard there was a café nearby with a great atmosphere and amazing baked goods like financiers and canelés, so I headed straight to Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch (브루어스커피 천안신부점)!

What's the atmosphere like at Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch?

From the entrance, the whole place felt warm and comfortable. There are outdoor tables too, so on a nice day it would be lovely to sit outside and take your time.

The inside is exotic and moody too, so it looked like a great spot for wandering around and taking photos.

The display case at Brewers Coffee was full of desserts: financiers, canelés, madeleines and more. After looking it all over, we chose vanilla flan, vanilla canelé, salty chocolate chip madeleine, crème brûlée madeleine and salty caramel financier.

I also ordered Brewers' signature drink, the Brewers Coffee.

How does the signature Brewers Coffee taste?

The Brewers Coffee is a latte with soft almond cream on top of a mocha base. When I drank it, I could taste a subtle, sweet mocha aroma, and the almond cream on top was smooth and nutty. Honestly, a total banger of a drink!

Salty caramel financier

The salty caramel financier is Brewers' signature dessert. The nutty flavor financiers are known for is joined by sweet-and-salty salted caramel, and the whole thing tasted really upscale.

Vanilla flan

The vanilla flan has a soft texture like an egg tart. It's smooth and sweet with a gentle vanilla flavor, the kind of dessert almost anyone would like.

Vanilla canelé

Sweet and chewy, that was the vanilla canelé! The outside is slightly crisp while the inside is moist and chewy, which I loved. With the sweet vanilla flavor on top, it's a great dessert to have with coffee.

Salty chocolate chip madeleine

The sweet-and-salty chocolate chip madeleine blends chocolate sweetness with a salty kick. It isn't only sweet, and that saltiness kept me reaching for another bite.

Crème brûlée madeleine

Sweet and fluffy, that was the crème brûlée madeleine! With a name like that, how could it not be good? The outside is coated in sugar so it's even sweeter, while the inside stays moist. It'd be perfect for a bite when you're feeling low on energy.

Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch has an exotic, moody atmosphere that makes it a café you can really enjoy just sitting in. Best of all, you can taste a wide range of baked goods, from financiers to canelés and madeleines, all of which go well with coffee.
